I meant the quartz stashes where I failed. That right there is about the amount I used trying to get Okita, Jeanne Alter and a few others only to wind up with nothing. Aside from Serenity who I got from friend points, Mordred who I got in the only time I ever had luck in this game, Artoria (who was on this account when I was gifted it) and Saber Alter (who you could eventually pick from a 4* ticket anyways) I havent personally pulled anything I actually wanted.

Saber Alter is still kind of a good one to get since story 4*s are arguably more difficult to get than non-story locked 5*s but yeah your luck is pretty bad

I'll still say your luck isn't decisively worse than mine yet but we'll see once I blow this stash. I could get a NP5 Ilya off this stash and eternally lose any bad luck bragging rights, or I could get no Ilya and be the undisputed bad luck champion. Time will tell. Was hoping you'd get some Archurias just to give me a buffer where I could get one Ilya and still be the champion.

Compare this to an actual good gacha like DanMachi where Ive played for 3 months and have never failed to pull a single card I wanted. The rates in that are so good it just makes this game look even worse than it already is.

Compare this to an actual good gacha like Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle. Actually dont because it will make fgo look bad

You have it bad because of your Saberface Fetish, but relative to demand I don't think F/GO's rates are as bad as they're cracked up to be. Like I rigged Altera and the only 5* servant I've obtained that I actually attempted to get was Scathach so far, but I still feel mostly okay in terms of servants I like because of the abundance of cool 1-3*s and 4*s actually having a vaguely fair rate, because 1-4* servants are actually viable in this game.

Like I'm not exactly defending it but I'd take this game's gacha over like Brave Exvius's every time despite the rates being slightly worse on paper.

Never played Brave Exvuis or been interested in doing so. Other gacha games have viable weaker rarity cards too without having the extremely bad rates of Grand Order. It helps a lot dont have non-character cards clogging up their summons like Grand Order. I mean one my 30 quartz summons was literally 8 3* CEs, a 3* Servant I already have at NP5 and a 4* CE. Thats basically the worst summon possible in this game

Why would they ever go up when this game is making billions? Money wise there is no reason for them to ever consider improving rates because the garbage ones are making them way too much money

I agree that having CEs mixed in in summons never feels good, I wish they had a better way of giving them out.

i say what we do is flog Koala for his EX luck (he'll tell you he spent 200 for jalter, but for most, that's chump change) and perhaps he'll share some luck with us

I think the Madoka and SMT games have the same or worse rates. I know there are some that have .5% chances to get an SSR period.

Some do, but I would say most don't of games I've played/checked out gacha rates for. It also helps that you need less units than you might in some other games. Like once you have say Mordred you have a pretty viable Saber for most content. Another game you might need 5 or 10 5* cards to have the utility that your one Mordred gives you.

Honestly the only thing I think is egregiously wrong with this game's gacha is that 10 pulls have a guaranteed "4* card" which could be CE and 95% of 4* CEs are just inferior versions of 5* CEs. Change the guaranteed 4* card to a 4* Servant or 5* CE and it would be actually almost fair.

Also I kinda think the focus rate isn't high enough. Like if I could actually draw focus units for a damn I would have Gilgamesh (two, actually) and Tamamo instead of Jeanne and Orion and I wouldn't even say my luck has been bad.

All I know is some have actual good rates and get better over time. Dokkan Battle use to have 3% or lower rates, but now guarantees an SSR every multi summon. The pool is huge in that game so it isnt always good, but its still an SSR. DB Legends gives out tons of SSR tickets and summon currency. DanMachi has banner so great that every 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th multi is a guaranteed feature 4* (highest that game goes). Grand Order is more likely to give you mountains of 3* CEs you pull all the time from FP or wont use anyways and then even some 4* CEs are just flat out bad even when not compared to 5* CEs.

Sure but I bet like 90% of the early game SSRs in Dokkan are now completely obsolete whereas pretty much all the release 5*s are still usable in this game. Hell, a lot of them are better than they were at release-- did you know OG Saber just got a strengthening quest in Japan like 3 years after her release? I mean I'm not sure how much it really helps her (gives her meter gain on her critical star gain skill) but that's pretty awesome I think.

Basically every year 1 SSR in Dokkan is bad now, but it doesnt really matter much. Their best cards are way stronger than anything in this game too.

What also sucks is not many 3* Servants are added either. Its not hard at all to NP5 a ton just from one banner. I went from 0 Kotarou to NP5 Kotarou and now the only 3* Servant I can pull that I can even use is Touta since lolStorylocked 3*s.

Yeah BE's power creep is pretty much the worst. I stopped playing that game because it was impossible for my tricked out 3* X-Death to keep up with base units

Now you need 2x of the same 5* to be viable. Sure their 5* rate is 3% but since you need to get two of them to get them to their highest power level and offbanners exist it's much much worse than this game, and that's ignoring the fact that 1-3*, and honestly a vast majority of 4*s are completely worthless while in this game almost every unit is usable with the investment.

People can praise this for making 1-3*s good, but the reality is theyre only good because the 4-5* rates suck and if the 1-3*s werent good most people would quit before spending any money

you almost quit Dokkan for not pulling the unit that makes 98% of the other units in the game obsolete, and the rate for pulling that is probably worse than a rated up 5* in this game

the guaranteed SSRs getting a useless Uub card doesn't change the powercreep in Dokkan

I never said it did, but its far better than Grand Orders almost guaranteed to be a 4* CE per multi. The reason this game lacks powercreep is because if it had it only the extremely lucky or P2W people would stick with it. This game 3 years in on JP still has below half the rates Dokkan had starting out. The CEs of this might as well be the R/SRs of Dokkan. I guarantee you if they moved CEs to their own banners the majority of people pulling for CEs would be whales because most people dont want them at all

Having Servant only banners with 96% chance of 3* Servant, 3% chance of 4* Servant, and 1% chance of 5* Servant would be worse than what we have now IMO.

If they were split each multi would guarantee you 4* Servant or higher on the Servant banners and 1 4* CE or higher on the CE banner. How is that literally not way better than the current setup?

In your setup yeah. The current is a guaranteed 4* card in general aka if they split the banners into two that would be a 4* Servant or a 4* CE depending on where you pull because nobody would multi pull on either without a 4* guarantee

I dont have an Android where that sort of thing is significantly easier. Last I heard its way more annoying trying to do hack stuff on iOS

I gave it to my nieces a long time ago because they were always borrowing it when the adults were watching tv. I think it ended up dying or something since they dont have it anymore. It was cheap anyways so Im not too surprised

Spent 270 quartz and 12 tickets last night trying for Squirtoria and blew all my "luck" getting NP2 Jeanne. =/ (Though I did get Martha and NP2 Marie, so at least I'm walking away from summer with a couple of swimsuit servants!)

Going to spend the last 30 whenever I get the sense my luck is at its peak today.

If it makes you feel better as someone who has her I feel NP2 Jeanne is actually useful as that's the kinda NP you may actually get to 200% charge with (also being able to have some extra stocked is nice for NP drain specials), even if it gets comparatively less benefit than damage specials

Now NP3 Jeanne I would be somewhat upset to get up to.

NP2 Jeanne makes her defense bonus go from trash (5%) to solid (15%). Not amazing, but actually something. NP3 only increases that to 20% though, and NP4 to 22.5% lol.

Yeah I can't really be upset about it. It's actually a pretty big buff and while she's not a servant I'm usually excited about using, she's absolutely carried me in a couple of challenge quests, and I'm sure that will only become more common later.

Plus I only recently pulled Lancer Artoria who was my single most wanted servant in the game until Holmes comes around so really Squirtoria would've just been icing.

She's only 4/4/4 atm, the medal requirements to move past that are absolutely brutal. Once we get some down time (after Illya maybe?) I'll probably be spending some time trying to farm them to boost her up higher.

I mean I would be having fun if I was actually pulling stuff I cared to use instead of failing 95% of the time. All that sea shell grinding for nothing. Just a waste of my time. 360 quartz and 90 tickets total counting the 5 I spent on the first banner for a chance at Mordred and I walk away with nothing. At least I can walk away saying I never put any money into this garbage I guess

If you can't enjoy the game with 3 units you like why do you assume you'd enjoy it with 4 though.

Nerofest has Medals in the Lottery, so you'll probably be best off waiting for that. I think it's 3 medals per box, so 30 boxes would be enough to clear Lartoria's skills.

Mine's stuck at 4/4/4 too (could get one to 5 after clearing the shop, lol...).

Having that shiny new character always makes you forget the bad stuff. Lots of people hate these things and keep playing. Addiction habits and whatnot. Its not like there are literally only 3 I like, but there isnt really any point in continuing to play if I keep failing to get anything. I shouldve quit a long time ago I guess. Its mostly been something to kill time when I cant do anything else, but now Id prefer doing nothing over grinding all the time for nothing.

So actually starting this second part man did they really just do the exact same gimmick back to back. Guess it wouldn't be FGO without running the gimmick into the ground huh. Shame cause I liked it the first time, enough that I built all the things even.

Probably just gonna plot the most efficient route this time. What project do I gotta get to to unlock the later difficulties of the farm stages
