I managed to kill both super weapons. They're just ridiculous, especially Emmy.

Diamond:
I went full holy mage on this one: Raines with BSB & OSB, and Rem with USB & OSB as dps.
Shelke entrustbot, Tyro with his brand new Godwall + LMR was on support duty, and Yuna with USB and doublecast LMR healed with Curada spam.
Since her USB isn't instant, I had to give her TGC RM and Shelke entrusted her on turn 1, so I could recover from the HP 1 opening.

Emerald:
Emmy was a similar build, except I ran Ashe (USB) and Lightning (USB, OSB, Glint) as dps. The tricky part was finding the right balance between entrusting Yuna for survival and Lightning for OSB spam dps. I killed the eyes the first 2 times, but rushed down Emmy as the third set of eyes spawned.

I'm going to wait until the dream selection banners so I can get Onion Knight's LMR before I fight the uber weapons. From what I'm seeing on forums and reddit they can screw you up quick so getting you're buffs up ASAP is utmost importance, especially with how they start you at 1 HP.

Phase 1 (2 dupes, want any chain or USB)
Phase 2 (2 dupes one being the AOSB, already have Krile's fire chain)
Phase 3 (4 dupes all the BSBs, want Cloud AOSB and/or USB2)
Phase 4 (3 dupes, own Tidus's water chain, want any AOSB/ice chain/non-LM Tidus)
Phase 5 (2 dupes, want lightning chain)

Currently thinking at least two draws B1, no B2, one B3, two B4s, two B5s which puts me just under 400 mythril. How many dupes does it take for you guys to decide to pull the plug?

Depends entirely what the dupes are.

Like the way I see it a dud relic is a dud relic. Being a dupe of a dud relic is better in some ways, so I don't particularly care if say I already have Larsa's BSB if I wasn't drawing for that to begin with.

Usually if there are less than 3-4 relics I have much interest in remaining I pull the plug. Depends how much I want each. I play my Mythril pretty close to the chest though-- I don't think I've ever had much more than 600 Mythril.

Hm so I'm starting to out of reason to run Isgebind except for Ice Crystals.

When they phase out the keystones do they buff the Crystal drop rate on dailies as well? I feel like this will be the only boss I'm going to reliably sub 30, but moving onto another one to help build more decks would probably be preferred and I have quite a bit of Ice Crystals now.

The drop rates stay the same, but you get 1 crystal / 2 majors from the completion rewards.

Wow. Those completion rewards are legit. Guess I'll try to broaden my magicite base then because EXP Fields are the way to go for now since they're (I assume) not going to get a massive buff.

To clarify it's just 1 Crystal for the 100 stam. and 2 majors for the 80 stam. Not sure if I worded that well or not. But anyway, exp daily is fine if you still need to level your characters, but later on magicites give enough arcana that they're better for leveling your own magicites.

Yeah but I can't spam magicites yet so for leveling magicites EXP dungeon is the best option for now and I'm getting close to capping relevant ones

Unless there's a nice conversion of accumulated EXP when using them to upgrade other magicite and I can use 2*s as magicite EXP storage containers.

so i went and finished off the 3 remaining non-dark-holy 4* magicites. as expected, i couldn't sub-30 any. though i got damn close on Ixion, should definitely be able to once i actually farm earth magicites. i don't even have a second 3* earth-boosting magicite; got 4 shell dragons and never fought golem again.

but i can't beat Siren - she's just invincible with the regen and heal counters at the end. maybe i need to swap out Yuffie for Shelke and just spam Seph OSB at the end. though i kinda need his trance to proc for that to be effective and i can't seem to ever get it.

i was assuming Hades would be even tougher, but maybe not. Rosa + Unicorn can prevent the status effects and i might be able to do better holy damage with Marche and Ramza.

damn this is making me potentially change my mind about skipping banner 1. those chains would be super helpful and the other two could also potentially make a difference.

some recent progress: FF3/5/6/7 Torment CM200 all mastered. Hydra magicite defeated and sub-30 (Bartz USB/Dorgann imperil+buff BSB/Yuffie Glint/Ramza Shout/Rosa USB). This required some luck as Yuffie got off a few doublecasts and Bartz got both double and triplecast. Forgot to dive Dorgann before the fight, not even the 3* motes, but it didn't matter.

Is there any use for 1* or 2* magicites once I start getting a solid amount of 3* in my inventory?

Lunar Leviathan

And presumably Chain Blizzagaja and Lunar Shiva in the future.

And yeah don't underestimate Siren and Hades unless you got Banner 1's chains (grrr, still bitter about that) I could sub30 all 6 of the previous 4* before I fought them and they still kicked my ass at first, Hades especially I don't think I can sub30 before the crystals are gone even with Orlandeau's USB and LM.

I'd say 5th at most, behind Power, Black, Fire, and Lightning. Sapphire Blitz, Chain Waterja, and Lunar Leviathan are all in the 5th month of Torments while fire and lightning are more relevant in the first two months.

When I meant second I meant second most valuable when farming magicite for them, but most people didn't bother with the 6* celerity skills while Ice crystals were already used for Snowspell/Valigarmanda/Stitch in Time so they probably already have a reserve of Lightning Crystals.

That kind of firepower should have no problem with Bismarck. Rosa USB should be more than enough healing. I'd replace Lightning with Shelke if you have her dived for more OSB casts (and maybe an entrust to Rosa if she can't keep up). Also IIRC Quina's USB is a straight upgrade to Shout, so I'd get on that asap.

So I've got 200 Mythril right now. There are a few things I'm considering drawing on. This is partially for me to just put thoughts down, though input if you wanna give it is fine.

1. More draws on the FF4 banner.

I have Dark Cecil's Arcane, which is kinda not great without his Ultra or at the very least his Burst to give some source of Infuse Dark. I really would like his Ultra and LMR here, and Paladin Cecil's Wall is also good. 2 great draws here (Decil Ultra or LMR2), 1 good one (Cecil USB), 2 decent ones (Decil BSB or Edward LMR). I also wouldn't hate to get more Decil or Pecil arcanes just cause they're strong boost weapons but they'd be dupes.

2. Draw on the FF1 banner.

Warrior of Light now that he has classic Fighter dress record is one of the cooler Holy attackers honestly, and in some ways I think his chain has a case to be used over the Ramza one if I intend to run a mixed composition, as Edward has a atk+50% + imperil holy BSB which I have. 1 Great draw here (WoL Chain) 3 good ones (WoL Ultra or Arcane, Sara LMR) and 4 decent ones (Sara Burst, Thief Burst, Master Burst, Thief LMR for equip). On raw number of desirable relics this is up there but a lot of the stuff I want is just out of favoritism and not really out of practicality.

3. Draw on fest banner 4.

Only thing that sucks here is 2/5 of the 5* items are dupes (Snow chain and Tidus Ultra). I'd be pretty happy to get the other three 5*s, though, along with most of the other items. 3 Great draws here (Squall Arcane, Tidus Arcane, Rikku Chain), 1 good one (Squall Burst) 5 decent ones (Rikku burst, Tidus burst, Snow burst, Rikku LMR, Tidus LMR). On raw number this is great, but Water is one of my stronger elements so Holy/Darkness focus of the others probably helps more.

4. Hold, draw on upcoming FF7 banner

Sephiroth is a cool dark attacker and his Ultra and Overstrike seem great, and Cloud could get a little help here, even though I already have Ultra Cross Slash, Cloud Cycle seems useful. Vincent Fire Chain isn't bad but I hate most of the magic fire attackers-- I am okay with Vincent himself though and Vivi. It would also be an upgrade to Locke's though, even when used on a physical team. 2 great relics (Seph USB, Seph Arcane), 3 good ones (Vincent Chain, Cloud BSB, Cloud Glint (I don't have a way to enwind him so either one is good)), 5 situationally decent ones depending on other things drawn (Vincent LMR, Vincent BSB, Both Cloud LMRs, Seph Glint).

Overall I'm thinking the right play is to draw on some combination of banner 4 and FF7, but man my heart kinda says Dark Cecil and Warrior of Light. Bleh. Maybe one draw on FFIV and go from there? I dunno.
