Steins;Gate 0 episode 7 complete. I'm realizing that I'm still not totally clear on the sequence of events of the game, so it still kinda catches me off guard at times because I'm not completely sure who's doing what at a given time. That Reading Steiner activation at the end of the episode was great though because I knew what that one meant.

Finished up the Amusement Park in Automata. That was a pretty cool sequence of events. I also journeyed to the secret village of robot pacifists, which is apparently not all that secret since the Resistance leader barters back and forth with them. I'm also caught up in a sidequest with the robo-philosopher Jean-Paul and his three admirers.

Getting to the village was good times. So was the Park.

Well, I've already got two of the three, and I've got another sidequest in the desert, too. Still, I figured there'd be fast travel at some point because it'd be kind of ridiculous to expect you to go to all these places repeatedly on foot.

Also, what about this sidequest with this robo-inventor dude who keeps asking me to give him money? Is there a specific amount I'm supposed to give him? Is there an actual payoff (pun intended)?

Its a lot of money (100000 iirc?). Dont bother with it now.

Hell eventually open a shop that sells meteorites, an item used in ultimate weapon upgrades.

Oh man, that Pirates of the Caribbean world in KH3 looks so good, and if the guy they've got playing Jack Sparrow isn't Johnny Depp, he sounds just like him.

Amusement Park was probably the first place to get me feeling like it was Nier/A Yoko Taro game. So good.

KH3 Pirates trailer was really great. Loved the gameplay stuff we saw and everyone's appearance looked excellent.

oh man I wasn't sure Smash could do this to me anymore but as soon as I saw they got Snake back I decided I was in on this game

I also laughed hard at the Daisy reveal. I'm guessing with a roster this size, a lot of the new characters will be clones. The little inside jokes were great, too, like "Ridley Hits the Big Time!" and finally retiring the Landmaster.

oh man I just realized Smash Ultimate needs to bring back the Codec convos from Brawl

David Hayter is confirmed to be back voicing Snake, so maybe they could get the old crew back for it. Maybe they could even make Big Boss an Echo character and bring back Kiefer Sutherland. He'd have more lines than he did in MGSV!

they should also get Troy Baker for one line so he can say "So this is Ridley territory" over and over again

I don't have a New 3DS, no, and I'm not getting one just to play Xenoblade. My Wii is locked away in cold storage and will likely never return from there.

Anyway, I watched the trailer for The Last of Us Part II, but it didn't really tell me much of anything. I already knew the game would be aesthetically pleasing because that's what Naughty Dog does. I'm more interested in what the game is about, and that trailer didn't touch on that.

I also watched the Death Stranding trailer. I have no idea what I just watched, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Morgana may not have necessarily been in the wrong originally (he kinda was though), but he definitely moved over to "completely in the wrong" very quickly, which is why he's a bottom tier party member.

Ryuji was 100% in the wrong first. Morgana overreacted sure, but at that point I'd say it's more the writing's fault than his.

Eh, Morgana treats Ryuji like crap all the time, so I can't feel any sympathy for him that he gets mad that Ryuji dished it back.

Ryuji starts going overboard after the Fourth Palace and starts poking at Morgana's insecurities. It's different than their usual banter, IMO.

The only difference is that Morgana takes it personally. He pokes at things Ryuji is self-conscious about, too.

Regardless, it could've been over quickly if Morgana had just forgiven Ryuji when he tried to apologize, so he is completely to blame for that part of the game being awful.

could have never started if the game let ren talk to morgana during the week and a half beforehand where morgana is telegraphing it

and not have the very few conversation options he have in that timeframe all be clueless

like i said the writing in p5 is often bad

Yeah, I guess, but I still blame Morgana for perpetuating a bad scenario. Having to chase Morgana through Mementos is the worst part of the game, and it might not even be particularly close.

nah worst part of the game is Ryuji just ignoring the whole lesson about keeping the fact that they're Phantom Thieves secret and both still talking about it openly and more annoyingly, acting like they can/should go public to cash it in for stupid and selfish reasons. It's worse when it somehow infects Ann and completely inexplicably Yusuke.

which is why ryuji is the actual worst
