From looking at HSReplay it looks like the best performing odd mages are just elemental mage variants that use the hero power to control the board. They're actually performing better than standard elemental mage. Small sample sizes, though.

2) You say its because you are nervous.

3) This implies that you are making worse plays as a result of the nervousness.

4) Therefore making worse plays affects how often you win.

5) Therefore skill matters.

Im playing a bad version of it because I havent bothered to craft anything yet, but the point was that I have no room to whine about bad RNG when my deck is based completely on RNG.

Last night, I was around 15 health or so, and my opponent ran three little minions into my 12/12 bittertide hydra zombeast before he realized it had lifesteal...

It's the little things.

i ran 3 games today with control mage. 2-1.

Loss to Spiteful Druid (Princed on 2).
Win against Even Paladin
Win against Spiteful Priest

my ranking really has not changed that much despite not playing

I also got rid of an ooze and an acolyte of pain for a Bright Eyed Scout and Ysera. Ysera basically replaces Alex as like a late game card with some added value.

I've been trying out a really dumb egg/cube deathrattle hunter the past couple days. Just had a very silly hunter v. hunter matchup.

Opponent was playing spell hunter, and they were the type who emotes on average twice per turn. So obnoxious, but I rarely squelch, because I don't want them to have the satisfaction.

Anyway, we go on, with them thanking me every turn. Eventually, it gets to the point where we both have 1-3 cards and are building beasts. Each above 15 life.

We go back and forth, and it was sort of even, until my opponent played Rhok'delar, and it didn't activate. I wasn't paying super close attention, but my guess is they made a zombeast with raptor hatchling.

It was literally my next turn after that which I had lethal. Opponent at 14 life, and I had a 4-attack beast on board with double kill command. I played the two kill commands, then just spammed Thanks until he conceded.

I very rarely initiate the obnoxious emote war. But if you start it with me and lose, you're gonna get it back.

Shudderwock had its animation nerfed.

Just played Tess for third time. Was up 30-8 with board.

Decided to use her to pop out 3 fireballs. All hit my face.

Made this. It does pretty well. Mainly I converted some of the more control oriented cards to more midrange style. I hope this improves the matchup versus other control decks. Had a mirror versus drj where he was playing a standard list and he simply had to use all of his aoe in the middle stages which let me do what I wanted late game pretty.

Trying to finish quests on a new account is pretty much impossible. Playing on Asia and at rank 25 I've played seven games now, and six of the seven have been either Odd Paladin or Cubelock. The other was a Witchwood Hand Druid, whatever you want to call that deck.

I understand this at rank 20, but how is this still possible at 25? Especially this late in the month.

Looks like Paladin is still busted. I think the worst card in my deck was the Bloodworm, that might be the most powerful deck I've drafted in a very long time, if not ever.

Rewards were 420 gold, golden rare, and a pack.

No not at all.

The deck runs like 11-15 battlecry creatures total. The OTK happens because you cast Shudderwock for 1 mana, and get the Murmuring Elemental battlecry to get the next Shudderwock to trigger twice. Combined with a single 3 damage battlecry this is 57 damage in one turn. Combined with two 3 damage battlecries this is 114 damage in one turn. Basically you win cause you get to trigger Shudderwock's battlecry 19 times in one turn, not because Shudderwock copies 20+ battlecries.

You can sometimes go over 15 battlecries if you grumble a lot of stuff back, but it would need to be a really weird game to go above 20. The OTK should be absolutely fine from this change.

No, I think the 20 limit was to prevent griefers. People who would go into wild, use Loatheb and Marin the Fox, and freeze to fill up the opponents entire board and stop them from playing anything while making their own animations as long as possible.

Dude, the other day I was facing a druid and got a zombeast with King Mukla and Hunting Mastiff. 5 mana echo, put 4 bananas in the opponent's hand. Hadronox got burned and he instantly conceded. Was awesome.

My first run ended on the third boss because I got an Unlicensed Apothecary off of a Bane of Doom. Oops.

Just finished the Tracker quest and it gave me one for the Cannoneer so I'm guessing it'll cycle through all 4.
