oh i checked and apparently apoc+ multiplayer is more efficient, stamina-wise. 1/3 chance each at 1000 greens (which you can trade for 25000 gil), 2 growth eggs (which you can sell for 2000 gil) and large adamantite (which you can sell for 5000 gil). plus the flat 1500 gil. that adds up to an average of just over 12000 gil per stamina.

Final magicite (Hades) done. I had to dive TGCid for it, but it's not a big deal. Maybe I didn't have to 5* dive him, but it's not like TGC with OSB is a terrible character.

Yeah it's Dark Crystals, if he dropped black crystals he'd be a lot more sought after for those. There's a bunch of new 6* spells in the future so we'll need a ton of them later.

Dark Crystals, I think they're still only good for Affliction Break, Neo Bahamut and Omega Drive, and those kinda suck these days (Or in AB's case Dena is screwing it over by making later bosses immune to the status effect reduction.)

Beat Siren. My first clear was in 29.05 so I guess I don't really need Dark help right now after all. The ones I still haven't sub-30ed are Ixion (definitely my worst element), Midgardsormr, Isgebind, and surprisingly Kraken.

Cause it never has events really, to warrant support.

Really don't know why they're so conservative with adding FF1 cores. They're much better than scraping the bottom of the barrel with like Marcus and Reks-- guarantee they'd get more draws than those types. You could have a pretty well fleshed out realm too if you added the remaining 3 and gave Thief what he should have.

Id say its because theyd have to change their appearance to not look so much like the Cores.

They can go with some of the promoted classes like Black/White/Red Wizard, and they already have Master Monk and now Thief covered.

Well Warrior/Knight is basically implied to be Warrior of Light, particularly with the Fighter Dress Record, whenever he gets that. He's not really needed.

I honestly don't feel like looking like a core necessarily matters all that much. Hell they could use the exact same sprites for what I'm concerned. Really though I think you could make em sufficiently different by using different hair colors and just making their attire closer to the FF1 sprites (red mage has white hair, white mage's hood hangs lower and has red hair, and black mage looks at an angle so you can see both of his eyes)-- most of the cores look more like FFV sprites really.

Yeah, I definitely would like to see the other 3 character classes represented. I would pull on the current banner if I didn't already have Warrior of Light's chain.

I definitely would rather see more FF1 and less junk like type 0.

cores as they are should have just never been in the game. they should have had FF1 synergy from the start and had stats/skills on par with the actual characters.

FF1 probably doesn't get a lot of support due to how little there is to work with. There's only like 10 bosses who we refight every FF1 event. They even add Warrior of Light as a boss as filler. Adding Mobius stuff to the realm is a clever way to add more content so it's not far behind the rest of the series, but they seem to be neglecting that as well.

I don't think we'll ever see the Black/Red/White wizard either. Dena seems content with the proxy characters we got already. Meia, Matoya and Echo can already use Black Magic *5, Matoya also has white *5 so she also covers the Red Mage proxy, and let's be honest does anyone really want a character limited to *4 Black in the current meta? Sarah covers the healing relics. Also they seem to following the FF1 remake by having core Magus and Devout as the upgraded BM/WM so they probably already think they're in the game already.

Red Mage should be a Spellblade. I mean he wasn't technically one but that's kinda the idea of what a Red Mage is supposed to be.

I do agree that White Mage and Black Mage don't really have any non-redundant niche but I mean FF4 has like 10 5* Black Users so it's not really a big deal.

Could always add Dawn of Souls bonus fights too! Or actually give stuff that is "basically" a boss fight more coverage like The Wizards or the Eye. There were more than the four fiends in that game! Hell I think this event was the first time we saw The Vampire.

I agree cores should never have been in the game. And that goes double for Magus and Devout, they could have made them actual FF1 characters with synergy and soul breaks. I like Lopen's design of Red Mage as a spellblade. BM4 is purely for flavor, but WM4 can be relevant. Give him Combat 4 as well to reflect his role in the game and give him lifesiphon access.

At a stretch you could also consider the Thunder Dragon in the Tower leading up to Tiamat one too since it's a spiked square you can't avoid and pretty tough the first time

At an extreme stretch you could also consider the spiked square at the Waterfall with a bunch of mummies and stuff a "boss" too since it guards a plot important item (I would often actually farm this because it gave awesome EXP and GP with minimal risk)-- it wouldn't really be any worse than half of the FFT bosses. And I guess the Nightmares/Clay Golems at the Castle of Ordeals too as a mini boss since they were also on unavoidable spiked squares. I suppose you can run from both of these though which would probably be the distinction to make.

Warmech getting a fight would be awesome though in any case.

I doubt Dena would make the Red Mage a spellblader through, especially with how bare bones Master Monk and Thief are. Wol and Garland (since they're using the Dissidia version) should have had spellblade access but they don't for some reason, I doubt they'd take liberties with the Red Mage when they can't even give the canon spellbladers access. I get the hunch that if Dena wanted a FF1 Spellblade they'd add someone from Mobius or make Marilith a playable character.

Also you can't really compared FF1 to 4 in characters, FF4 has has 12 playable in the core game + Golbez + Rubicante & Barbariccia + After Years, and it gets events frequently. It's the most bloated realm, and it's because of how popular it is in Japan. Barbariccia even got in due to winning a fan poll there even with Ultimecia and Caius being on the same poll.

I just use Vaan, start with mug bloodlust, Relm USB, Vaan instant casts Cloud USB RW, and then Vaan uses BSB/USB. Makes short work of almost every Jump Start or 300 Torment.

Well you don't need Vaan USB, it just does a little extra damage and if the boss survives you can instant thief's revenge to finish them off.

Oh I also forgot to mention I use Ramza and BSB2 then Chant, Vaan's BSB does massive damage after that, if you use another party instant cast you can sneak an expose to do some more damage with BSB (not that it's really needed either since the cast time is low anyway) A secondary DPS that can use the second Cloud USB RW that hits a boss's weakness is also recommended.

For this one since he has omni-resist I used Vaan, Master Monk, and Cloud (USB+Omega Drive). If they have an elemental weakness it's even more fun.

So I can use OK PuSB and Zack Chain instead right, and still get the same as Chant/Shout?

Well make sure to use Cloud USB RW after Onion Knight's pUSB, Onion Knight's 50% crit chance buff overwrites Cloud's 100% crit.

You probably don't need Onion Knight pUSB other than the haste through if you're using Zack's chain, it's probably better to use his BSB so the attack buffs stack.

I thought it was diffeeent then Shout, and Chant... but you're saying they wouldn't stack?

It's 50% attack boost (aka shout) with a crit Chance+ 50%. Zack's Chain also has a 50% attack boost so it won't stack with OK's pUSB, but it will stack with OK's BSB since it's 30% attack and magic so it has a diffrent ID.

OK Ninja USB gives Crit Chance = 50%. So your attacks are 50% likely to be critical hits (1.5x dmg).
Zack CSB gives Crit Damage +0.5x. So your critical hits deal 2.0x dmg, not 1.5x. Zack CSB does not increase your critical rate.

Zack does increased crit DAMAGE while Onion Knight does increased hit CHANCE. IE one benefits Cloud's USB while the other hinders it.

Also that 930 is if you plan on doing every Lucky Draw from now on, but people are wising up to realm lucky draws because of how dated supers (and most BSBs) are.

Besides Marche USB (again) which doesn't share a banner, is there any other Tactics banners coming up REALLY good?

The reason I ask is lookijg at this Holy banner and pulling for Cid USB, there are only two dupes. (CID AND Ramza BSB) meaning any 6 star is new, and I could definitely use either one of their Legends if I get it.

Would it be recommended to pull here for Cid USB or wait?

But yeah if you only have 2 dupes on that banner go ahead, I'm pretty tempted myself but I need a holy/dark chain more importantly so I'm holding out for the fest banner with Ramza & Seifer's gen 2 chains.

Also I 100 gemmed Vanille's USB! Was hoping it was Raines or Nabaats, but this is still pretty nice, instant medica and last stand. Through other than Siren I don't see much use for the holy lower.
