Yeah, sometime around the next fest, then they come back on the Apocalypse++ difficulty again though.

I wouldn't worry about Cid Missioning every realm, just focus on 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13 T0 and Tactics. 1, 2, 11, 14 events are really rare so you can ignore them, 7 events used to be very common but they became rare recently for some reason.

So we're finally getting Meia this week, a year and half after she debuted in Japan.

Yeah - unfortunately I loathe Seifer so I'm not too eager to use him. It's a strong banner for sure though. But it also suffers from being the first banner in the fest where the ones I really want to invest in are 2 and 5. If it were the last banner of fest I would throw whatever I have left over at it, but when it's first I might just save my mythril.

Anyway, it looks like they're changing up the I banners since the first of the back to back I events had really obsolete banners (just one 6* each). So I guess we'll see what they do with them.

Not a fan of Seifer either but oh well, he can use Knight *5 at least and be a punching bag to protect Riku and Raines. Also I already legend dived Ramza so him getting a chain would be a good alternative to WoL so I don't have to use 5* motes on him.

Crystal tower mastered, very easy besides the annoying status effect on Twintania and Cerberus.

Twintania really fucking sucks because of mind blast which can paralyze you and force a reset, but he's easy otherwise. Vaan's BSB and Faris USB2 and dances neutered his offenses, but mind blast is so cheap. I had to conserve Enkidu for mind blast but I could get screwed over if he does more than 1 mind blast. If you have astra on wrathable character bring it!

Cerebus starts with silence, and I made the mistake of bringing a mage team. I had to keep reseting until I got lucky and my 3 DPS mages didn't get silenced, while Selphie got silenced so I went no healer for a while until Enkidu could be used and removed silence from her. Other than that he was pretty easy.

I brought a mage team this time for Milleuda since her rend weapon made the fight a lot harder when I went physical, but since I didn't have to worry about that I used Papalymo's super for quickcasts (used OK against Cerebus) and made short work of her (she only has 380,000 HP anyway)

Nix was super easy and basic. Used Raines, Hope and Maria, hit her with earth and holy magic and she died pretty quick. No gimmicks here other than Stiria healed me for some reason.

Actually beat Crystal Tower.

Cerberus was the hardest of them.
Twintania was easy with Vaan and Faris USB
The other two were cake with my Tactics and XIII synergy.

I 100 gemmed Princess Sara's USB

It's basically Hyper Mighty G, replacing the protectga with a 2000hp stock. I actually kinda think that's better all things considered. I now no longer feel a huge need to get Hyper Mighty G (I already had Minfilia's which while close wasn't close enough and Minfilia's gear options suck as a supporting role). Rikku's a better character than Sara and all but I don't mind using Sara for FF1 cred.

What's wrong with Minfilia's gear options? I thought she was fine and I used her a fair amount before I got Ramza's LMR. Her ability to use shellga/protectga was nice too. But I don't use her anymore because Ramza's ability to fire off a SB or RW at 0.2 second mark is SO much better than Minfilia getting her hastega down at around the 5 second mark. Instant cast basically feels like a must now for whoever's casting your hastega.

Minfilia's MND is actually low enough that you can notice it if you want to run her as a healer. I'm sure there's a MND Dagger or Sword out there but I don't have any of em.

Like she seems perfectly fine as "damager with a Protectga on the second slot" but that's generally not how I fit her into teamcomps

Ah, yeah, she's not a healer. She's a support who can carry Protectga. You're better off giving her wrath/entrust than trying to make her your primary healer.

Any of the Renewal Relic Draws worth it? They mostly seem like traps.

No avoid them, too high chance of a fossil. The elemental banners will probably be a lot better.

Minfilia's supposed to be a jack-of-all trades Paladin. She's not the best at one thing like Ramza or Beatrix but her versatility is her strong suit since she has *5 in Knight, White Magic and Support (though Ramza is also getting Knight *5 soon)

The MVP email showed that Dena was really happy with the feedback for the Kingdom Hearts event, hopefully we see more of them in the future and another chance at the relics.

Since KH3 is supposed to come out at the end of the year, I'd be surprised if they didn't do a crossover event for that.

I really hope they take the hint and give us a Chrono Trigger crossover though (or better yet, make it its own realm!)

If they actually did a CT crossover I assume it would have characters because otherwise what's the point? And I assume we would get it because (a) they should know they would make money like they did with the KH crossover and (b) global fans would complain endlessly until we did get it.

The Saga and SoM events didn't get characters, just bosses, equipment and some summon abilities we didn't get.

I don't think Dena sees Chrono Trigger as the cash cow KH was due to how old CT is, even though the majority of people playing FFRK are people who probably prefer CT over KH.

I have every character with a Super Soul Break or higher currently at level 99.

So is there anyone (besides Shelk) just a good character even a little without relics, or anyone who has a really really good or handy final Record Materia?

Orlandeau's level 99 is one of the most valuable RMs in the game, if you haven't him yet go for it.

Orlandeua was one of my first 99's I did.

30% weapon damage RMs and 40% skill damage RMs are good

if you have all those, you're looking at torment preparation. healers and characters with self buffs are probably gonna be the most useful without SBs.

Who has self buffs?

I think characters like Vivi and Ysyayle have buffs as their default soul break.

Through at this point you should probably hold on to the MCIIIs, you might get something really good for a character you haven't invested in through a lucky draw or 100 gems.

Whew, finished the crystal tower. It's still pretty much my least favorite event, but it's not quite as annoying now that I know you CAN retreat from individual fights as long as you don't exit the event. (The CM that says "without retreating" confused me before).

What's the current most stamina efficient way to earn money?

Does anytbing beat Reactor 1 6,000 for 1 stamina which is 480,000 for 80 which put strips Sunday gil dungeon?

4* magicites give 350k for 20 stam if you sub-30. thats 3.15M per week from the 9 keystones. once i noticed that i decided not to bother with the nemesis farm. better get on it!

I never really had issues with gil since I got into higher level content. If someone can sub30 magicite they probably haven't worried about gil shortages in a long time.

Seems like reason people need gil is because they need to exchange orbs? I torment farm so I never felt low on gil and I rarely exchange since the orbs I get are majors anyway.

I haven't inherited any magicite yet so I'm not sure how expensive that is. Leveling magicite, especially 4* ones are too much of a slog (and I used up the level 99 2*magicite I had for exp before I was aware of inheriting magicite, oops)

Even then I don't think you need inherited magicite at the moment, at least not until the new torments and *5 magicite.

Actually seems like the speedrunner folk are out there are farming level 99 Sylph magicites and using their fast act level 8 for inheritance on almost every magicite and some saved up for *5 magicite. Sheesh, they must spend more money on gems for exp dungeons than they do relic banners.

Unless someone has a way to cheese a 4 magicite that doesn't help.

Also, even so, you can only do that 9 times a week for 180 stamina.

If you have Orlandeau's OSB and Onion Knight pUSB + Shelke and Morrow fully dived (or Tyro or Ramza with their legend materias) you can sub 30 Kraken just by entrusting Orlandeau and spamming his OSB. Lightning with USB and osb spam a[[arently works too.

As a chance you know of any ways to cheese all the 3 magicite to unlock Kracken?

So anyway.

At 6,000 per stamina infinite that's about 3 million extra a day, 20 million a week, and an extra billion more or less (not counting the stamina you have to use for events) if I do that for a year.

Not including the magicite if I can get there.

But the reason I want to make sure that's the best is because even 430,000 compared to 480,000 for 8 stamina ads up real quick, and is a net loss of over 100 million a year.

Morrow is a character from Final Fantasy Dimensions 2, he also has IC3 as his LM2 and support *5 making him a second Shelke. He's not out here yet but he will be next month.

I don't think you can cheese all 8 of the 3* magicite, you have to have a strong team in that element's weakness since they resist all others. I think the closest to cheesing them is probably Vaan USB with Thief's Revenge spam (won't sub30 but he can do decent enough damage for a win) or Bartz with his USB covering 4 of them.

How have you guys not inherited Magicite yet? If you're using your keystones you'll be way, way past the 100 inventory limit. Are you selling them, or spending mythril to keep useless Magicite?

No it works on Kraken because he has low HP for a 4* magicite because his gimmick is counters and his tentacles being separate targets which is why spamming a OSB is a loophole against him. The Orlandeau spam doesn't work on Hades despite also being weak to his OSB.

Bartz is a solid DPS against 4 of them because he gets chases on 4 elements, soley entrusting him won't work well because his multicast spellblades do more damage than the entry, but that's his strength as well because he only needs one bar to get going. He needs to be paired up with a second DPS (preferably a chain) to take out magicite.

I haven't inherited any magicite because it takes too long to level them up and level up the magicite with the skill I want to pass to. And I sell or use *2 magicite as exp for low level 4* magicite. I've been trucking along with level 80~ *4 magicite for the most part.

i'm selling 1 and 2*. i assumed those were useless for inheritance anyway? and i haven't hit the limit yet with 3-4*.

also you literally can only do inheritance with level 99 magicites, which i don't even have yet.

1s and 2s aren't totally useless. The early inheritance levels don't take much XP at all, so it's easy to boost your magicite stats a bit with 1 and 2* magicite. It's better than selling them, anyway.

I have done some inheriting, but I'm far from done. It's definitely nice getting that extra passive, and the bonus stats don't hurt either.

I have
- an Isgebind with inherited Crit dmg+8 for general physical power
- a Gizamaluke with extra Dampen Fire+10
- a Krysta with Dampen Wind+10
- a Tiamat with Empower Wind+15
- an Evrea with Health Boon 5
- a Wendigo with Empower Ice+15
- a Shell Dragon with Empower Earth+15

Eventual targets are getting Dampen 15 for each element and Empower 15 on each Imperil magicite.
