boss fight you thought was hard - Brock. Didn't know about Mankey so I think I beat Brock's Onyx by spamming potions, sand attack and Pidgeotto's Gust.

party member that died because of your incompetence - idk. I remember first time trying a Nuzlocke I did it was HG and I was chuffed I got a Scyther in the bug catching competition. I was leveling it up a few levels and lost it because my Scyther beat a Nidoran on low health, got hit by the poison bard ability Nidoran has, and then died in the very same move it beat the Nidoran on. I was fucking raging.

JRPG you gave up on...
because it was bad - i had a shitty hack of Pokemon gold which I hated coz they changed all the names of the pokemon so everything sounded stupid. Don't know its name.
for another reason - my child minder let me play her son's copy of FFVII but they didn't have a memory card so I did the first 2-4 hours multiple times but never got further until I played it on an emulator when I was a teen. I gave up on that coz I didn't know how to change disks with an emulator. Didn't actually beat the game for the first time earlier this year, actually :/

full party - EDIT: Okay, sticking to the end... would have to be... Definitely still Golden Sun, Isaac's harem. Jenna (for her battle theme), Isaac, Sheba, Mia. Naturally, you still use all 8, but that was the starting four I stuck with.

for another reason - I've never put down an RPG that I was actively enjoying. There are some, like Xenoblade, which I wouldn't call objectively "bad", but if I put it down it's because I wasn't enjoying it.
