Joking aside, I'm actually curious as to how that would change your opinion. A child? A teenager? A young adult? An older but not quite middle aged adult?

Basically start profiling the person. What are thhey wearing, are they just walking through or are they eyeballing the neighborhood? Do they look like they are drunk or on drugs? Any sign of a weapon? Things like that.

If they look like a teenager probably call the cops immediately.

In the right neighborhood you are probably fine to go out late provided you dress is a not shady and suspicious way.

i've done it a fair number of times but i've never seen anyone else outside of a car.

I used to go walking late at night or super early in the morning fairly frequently and rarely ever saw anyone else out. no one ever called the cops on me or anything. haven't done it at all recently. I think the biggest issue for me is the concern that someone who is out late and night and who is up to trouble would run into me by coincidence.

I am never looking outside for people at 1 am, but I'd probably think nothing of it if they were at all acting normal.

1 AM walks are the best, I did it all the time at college, I never got stopped by police or anything. There's no one around, it's nice and peaceful.

if I saw a guy walking at 1 am, I'd just think it was a guy who likes late-night walks. or maybe returning home from a party or something. nothing suspicious.

but also, I'd never go for a walk alone at 1 am, out of concern for being mugged/etc.

Well a backyard or somewhere you feel safe is fine. I guess I haven't done enough shrooms to be comfortable doing them in a place like that. One of the few times I did was a very strong trip, and I couldn't imagine going anywhere like that.

I hope it was.

But I don't think so. One, mushrooms aren't really strong enough to make you hallucinate THAT kind of thing.

And I've had other friends tell me they've seen that couple with their child-less stroller in and around that cemetary before. They're probably just a couple of weirdos.

Or here is my head-canon version of it. Their child died in infancy and that's the place that it's buried. And they come there with a stroller as a way of spending time with it. :(

Maybe they don't do it in broad daylight because someone could up to them and tell them, "You have to accept your loss and move on"

But whatever the case is, it's not exactly a "mentally sound" thing to do.

In NYC and other big cities, that person might be me.

In Tennessee's more rural areas, I'm staying away and watching...probably nothing to actually fear, but it's just more odd.
