Hey, the Mankind Divided offers are finally showing up. £10 for the base game, just what I wanted.

Hmm... or I can get the entire DE franchise for £15. I've already got most of it elsewhere, so it'd be £5 for the Mankind Divided DLC and The Fall, plus 'upgrading' (arguably) Human Revolution to the Director's Cut. I know MD is controversial, but is the DLC any good? I actually kind of want The Fall despite its negative reception just to see the plot through (I got it on Android, but the controls are awful).

Also, RaidersSphere4th is, according to the Ace Combat Reddit, the best AC-like game on PC, and is currently £3.75. I'll be picking that one up too, since the AC7 trailer got me itching for something new.

And maybe DOOM, and some DLC for Steamworld Heist and Hard West.

Oh fuck, Danganronpa 2 is at a price I'd normally get.

I'm playing through 1 on PC, but the controls feel a little awkward. I played the fan translated version on PSP and that was really fun.

Not sure if this game is better as a Vita or Steam purchase.

There's a few others where I'm on the fence, cos the price is good, but I wonder if handheld isn't a better option.

No really they were good when there were Flash Sales and it changed every 8 hours and you just wanted to see the deals and it was exciting and now it's just..a sale that will go on for a week, what's the rush?

the only things that are really grabbing me at all are Disgaea at -60%, Trails SC at -35% (but I suspect the first game is going to take me a very long time), Phantom Brave at -50%, and Hyperdevotion Noire at -90%

...this might be a Steam Sale I survive with no purchases!

There are some newish games with decent discounts. Immortal Redneck, Cryptarc, Neurovoider were among them and all three of those were matched on Humble, so I bought there due to my extra 10% discount for Humble Monthly.

Other new things I want to play now that I'm considering: The Sexy Brutale, VooDoo Viince Remastered, TumbleSeed, P.A.M.E.L.A.

One game I'd recommend is Furi, if you didn't get it from PS+ already. It's sort of a dual stick boss rush shmup with melee combat as well. Very visually striking, challenging and fun.

it's okay

it's very iterative. the big focus of 17 was QOL. the game does a pretty decent job of building up AI squads to go against, making long-term saves more challenging. information is presented in clear, logical manner, though if you have any recent experience with the franchise some of the changes might mess with your head. you know what you're getting into with FM though.

I will say that a Newcastle save is a bit boring in this one. You're so much more qualified than the competition in the Championship that you'll walk right back up to the Prem. not the most exciting way to start a career.
