These are literally the four most annoying characters in the game (okay Kagero and Ninian might be up there too) so yay can't wait for more people to have them!!

I actually kinda feel most whaleish here strangely enough, which is ironic considering I'm f2p. Good luck combined with a limited amount of units I actually want means I can be way more frivolous.

I have spent on those games but it was in enough moderation that I never felt like a whale. Just like a marlin or something at worst. Hell Exvius I spent on sales but technically I still haven't dipped into the bought Lapis. I just have a huge stockpile of over 30k Lapis I shouldn't have close to.

Anyway for heavy blade I dunno. I wish Robin F had more attack. I'd still be half tempted to. Balanced stats seems like not the worst option since if heavy blade isn't proccing you're probably doubling. If I drew Chrom I'd give it to him.

woo, finally got Hinoka! also Hector and Sanaki. no Azura/Ryoma, but there's still time to get orbs for a few more pulls. Hector is -atk, but if nothing else he should be useful for any future armor quests.

Sunk about 60 orbs got a -Def +Res Hector. Could be worse. Not sure if I wanna draw a bit more for Azura I'll think about it.

Dropped 40 more orbs. Got a +SPD -RES Takumi which seems pretty good for him. Not that I really wanted Takumi all that much (may sink his close counter into someone else) but I can be a strong arena scrub now I guess

I think I'll hold the few orbs I have left for the mage banner. I already have Hector and Azura. And I'd use Eirika and Kagero over Ryoma and Takumi in any case.

Hector and Effie are the easiest characters to beat in the arena. You're basically down a character if you use them on an arena defense team.

It's pretty telling that 3 of the 4 have abilities that ignore counterattack range restrictions.

I got Azura on my second roll. Then proceeded to get a bunch of green fodder.

Spent 300 orbs on the hero fest banner and got... Azura and Faye to show for it. Should have stopped after the first 90 that got me Azura. The 210 orbs for Faye is what really hurts. I hate this game so much right now.

They really need to give us a lot more orbs for all these banners. I don't even know which one to pull on with the little i have >_>

As someone running Linde/Julia/Kagero/Sharena right now because Sharena's the only decent unit I have that gets bonus points, Hector is just an instant-forfeit.

Back when I was running Marth he was EZ though.

Yeah, that team is not beating Hector. An arena team isn't really viable if you don't have one character that can battle Hector. I face him quite a bit, and I imagine you need to have some fortunate luck to dodge him 7 in a row.

You cannot get more than 500 feathers on defense in a season, barrel.

Linde can beat Hector with desperation and blarblade. and possibly without blarblade, depending on IVs/buffs/other skills.

I barely ever run into Hector, surprisingly. My choice there was basically "drop Marth and lose to Hector" or "drop Julia and lose to Nowi (plus just have a harder time in general since Julia's more useful)". In either case it doesn't matter too much since we'll have new arena bonus characters soon.

Kagero and Linde should both be able to beat Nowi. Although I can see Reinhardt​ posing big problems without Julia around. As Xuxon said, desperation Linde should be able to deal with Hector. She comes preloaded with ardent sacrifice to facilitate that.

If you don't want to spend much effort on the arena, use a team of 3xLv40 and 1xLv1. As long as one of them is the bonus unit, you can get a score of as high as 4000 like this while facing relatively soft opponents.

I'm not into the game enough to start designing teams around skill inheritance, plus just the existence of it basically kills the entire fanservice aspect of the game for me (Linde without Aura wtf). I really just try to forget it's even there.

My least favorite arena set up is probably Kagero + any dancer, but especially Azura. Hector's just bad for this current season, Kagero will be frustrating forever (though I can't complain too much since I run her...)

Is Azura stronger than the other dancers in some way? Or is she just more common than Ninian?

She has Sapphire Lance and decent stats so she will ruin your red unit's day. I'd say Ninian is actually the dancer I see most often.

In other news I pulled on the new banner and got 2 red orbs/3 grey ones so after resigning myself to pulling once and quitting, I proceeded to get a neutral IV 5* Alm. Can't complain, especially after my abysmal luck with my last 200 or so orbs.

Speaking of dragons, I seriously need to get (Young)Tiki to lv 40. All my maxed units take so much damage.(Also she was one of my first pulls so...)

Just pulled -Def +Res Hector. My first 1-2 range unit! IVs aren't perfect but it's not -Atk so I'll take it.

So I'm sitting on about 56,000 feathers with nothing else I really want to awaken ( I have characters like 3* Nino but I feel no pull to train them). My 4* Tharja is at level 20... will I regret using feathers to awaken her?

I would check what the nature is on Tharja and Nino. They are both very good as 5 stars.

You won't regret it then. My Tharja is +ATK -RES, and is one of my best characters. Keep Darting Blow in the A slot, and teach her Desperation. It works best if you have an Eirika or Ephraim to pair her with.

I wonder if they'll introduce some form of reaver weapons one day. Maybe have a blue sword user that gets an advantage over lance users but a disadvantage against axe uers.



Though the color thing makes things a bit more complicated than just the weapons alone....

Ughhh I don't know how the hell I'm supposed to get Robin to kill Navarre with her shitass Atk. The only one I have trained up that can lower his Res is Corrin, but it's still not enough to matter.

Go play 5-1 story chapter on Normal. Navarre is in that chapter and it counts. It's the kill Lv40 Navarre with Navarre and Lv35 Robin with Robin quests that need to be done in the GHB.

yeah i didn't even notice that until i went and killed the highest difficulty GHB Robin with Navarre. not that that was hard, and it saved me the like 5 stamina of going to story mode. of course i had to go to 5-1 to get Robin the kill on Navarre. just beating lunatic Navarre with Robin taking up a slot was hard enough, let alone trying to feed her the finishing blow.

finally finished the chapter 10 lunatic quests. 10-4 was super tough. in the end i couldn't figure out how to do it without a light's blessing. then i saw mkv do it with free 3* units <_<

at least the others i didn't need any, though i messed up in 10-5 way too many times. first not noticing the turn limit, then not noticing Mist's wings of mercy, then not noticing even my +spd Tharja gets windswept by Soren without a spd buff.

10-5 was probably the easiest one for me since the enemies didn't really move unless you get close to them. The also meant the different units colors were easy to keep apart which let my Triangle Adept users really shine. Like I sent Narcian to solo the Lance user in the top right. Lucina with Olivia support got rid of Titania, Soren and Mist while Ike just stood around. Cordelia flew in at the end to wreck Ike.

Good to know! Bringing Navarre in his own map still makes things a little tough since he can't double anyone and has weak Atk.
