...Actually looking at it.... yeah, - speed is actually a bane that doesn't change much.(And he's +attack so whoo!)

I guess I'm just slightly annoyed at how many units I have that do have - speed.

But we all know the true challenge is Wrys ;)

There's also Grand Heroes Battles quests that give you extra Robins/Navarees along with some orbs.

-SPD + ATK is the best nature for Reinhardt in my opinion. As an incredibly slow brave user, it doesn't matter. Nice pull

I don't think it's even an amount of content thing for me or anything like that, just really sudden burnout. Overnight it went from something I was doing about an hour a day to something where I couldn't be bothered to even login for free stuff.

Yeah. Well I'm just saying it would've happened for one reason or another even if it wasn't mysterious.

Like for me it became that overnight too. But I actually know what caused it-- getting most of the characters I was interested in using to level 40 5*.

Now I basically just get login bonuses 6/7 days, do what meager content there is the 7th day, and at some point during the week get a 7 win streak in arena. I like the game but there's just no drive to play beyond these things. I guess it's slightly more extreme for you not even having the will to get login bonuses but yeah it would've happened either way in one way or another.

I'm kinda dying down on it now that I spent all my orbs and feathers and don't have anything to do.

Even grinding Hero Merit, you get like... 5 for clearing the highest stratum, which is 9 stamina. That's clearing it 100 times just to get 500x4 feathers, nevermind anyone who can actually help beat it is gonna max their's way before all the gutter trash I have that can't possibly beat that stratum. Stamina-wise, that also requires 75 hours straight of stamina to get even that much.

Least Echoes is out in a month.

This game needs to stop throwing me shitty dupes like Gaius when I'm trying to pull for focus units. I also got three more Shanna's, which I can't make use of because her special only caters to a select group of characters. Made me stay up late for nothing

Yeah HM is garbage

Either need to make it build a lot faster or make the rewards actually significant.

Giving every hero their own special S ability to grind would be neat. As would extra character specific abilities.

I'd prefer something like

2000 Feathers
5 Orbs
Unlock Hero Exclusive Ability for the character (basically give every character one more slot along A B C S that can't be moved and is inate to the character once they have 1500 HM. Could be used to give the characters more of a unique identity/balance. Stuff that's more drastic than the normal ability slots and changes how the character works. Like maybe letting a healer equip tomes or something)
Unlock a Character Specific S Ability

Hell HM could accumulate at a fraction of the rate it does if the rewards were more like that. Just token feather rewards hardly feel worth it though.

I now have three extra MRobin's that I could use to make a super Robin, but that requires a shit ton of feathers.

Does it matter what level of the unit I'm using to merge is at? Does the unit you want to keep get the same bonuses regardless?

The level doesn't matter but the stars do. If the unit you are sacrificing only is a lower star then the only benefit is sp and the inheritance of their skills. It's probably only worth it to merge 5 stars together as their +1 bonuses get lost when their star level is promoted.

You're best off saving the feathers imo.

Every unit they add with Distant/Close Counter makes me want to play the game less and less.

Distant/close counter is just bad design. Not really a lot of counterplay to those unit types. I guess these "unit receives no counter attack" mechanic they're starting to add might help but I don't like that.

Spent my first orbs on summoning today. After 38 orbs, I got Titania, Reinhardt, and Ike. Ike is -SPD; +ATK. Not sure how bad that is.

Still have 503 orbs left and am not sure if I should save them for later, or spend them hoping for a better Ike since I stopped playing there for a while and don't know if/when I'll bounce off this game again.

I used 80 orbs and got Mist (plus 4* Merric and Tharja)

that's four 5* healers

i've never cared about Ike too much and my stamina is going toward the things expiring sooner until i have it all done. been leveling up Navarre and Robin for their quests, and now leveling up Kagero to carry Robin's useless ass.

Robin has been very good for me! I just gave her the riposte instead of tomebreaker and now it's basically move robin into attack range of ranged unit->counter KO them->Ignis almost charged->kill someone with Ignis.

Good anti-Takumi tech.

Someday they'll make a brave tome she can use. If only her attack was higher I'd totally go for Ike to give her HEAVY BLADE.

well obviously i'm not investing into Robin just to complete some quests. this is her 3* form with no inheritance on a map with a bunch of high res enemies, no blues, and no cavalry. she's pretty useless there.

I don't like Ike, but my other discord friends do.

So the obvious thing to do once Ike came out was to roll for him, obtain him first try, and immediately sell him for feathers with photo evidence. Then post it on the discord as the others complained that they still didn't get their trash husbando after 200 orbs.

Of course karma hit me after and I got a second Ike while trying to get Mist for skill inheritance. (No colorless orbs)

I decided to stop rolling after that

200 orbs got me Soren, 2 Titania, Seliph, Karel, and my third Reinhardt. Karel is -ATK +SPD, and both Titanias are -SPD. I now have a +2 Reinhardt with none of them being +ATK.

I'm happy with Soren at least. He complements my team better than Ike would have.

First pull got a +Atk -HP Titania. Dunno what the ideal is for her yet, but that seems really promising.

Second pull got a 4* -Spd +Def Lukas, which actually has me pretty excited.

I have about eight solid 5* characters that the RNG didn't screw over so I can't complain too much. It's still frustrating to see characters like Titania, Ike, Karel, Marth, and Ephraim always benched.

Pre-balance FFBE could give you like off-banner 5* Fang. That's terrible.

Unless you really want a colourless focus unit, it's usually not a good idea to pull on Colourless Orbs. The chances of getting a useless Staff user is pretty high.

Can't say for sure at the moment since I haven't unlocked Aether, but I think it works anytime you attack the enemy, whether that be a normal, or a second attack, or a counterattack.
