It's hard to say what the absolute best strategy is. Always sticking to the loser should be a solid strategy. Only use flags when triple score is active. Use all of your flags each round. Optionally save a few if it won't drop you by a score tier.

That won't happen. The losing team loses their pity bonus if they get too close to the stronger team. They can't actually passed the stronger team for very long and maybe not at all later on.

That's assuming there isn't an actual comeback and it's all rubber banding though, right? Like I know most of these matches have been decided in the first hour or so, but in theory I don't see why there couldn't be trends throughout the day and eventually a lead switch.

Yeah, but I doubt any of the characters are legitimately close to as strong as Tharja so it should be due to rubberbanding.

Don't know whether to be happy there's a skill that lets staves do normal damage, or upset that I have to slot a passive skill to let them do that. I guess Absorb is a pretty unique effect though that might actually be vaguely decent if I can get it doing normal damage.

In either case probably going to throw some draws at this banner just so I can get that for Serra.

not only does it require their B slot, but healers can't put shit in their A. if that skill was A slot it'd be a lot more reasonable. at least then they could keep live to serve.

Elise with that is legit strong. Her base 5* stats are 32 in Atk, Spd, and Res. Throw in the cavalier buffs and assault, and you have someone that tanks most of the killer mages and can do some pretty decent damage, on top of healing and giving cav buffs to other people too.

Like, even if she's neutral in Atk/Spd, she'll be able to one round an Alm with those buffs. With either Spd+1 as a sacred seal or A skill, she can one round Marth too.

Hilarious thing is with no buffs taken into account on either side, neutral Elise can one-round Xander too (survives his counter with 1 HP).

Man that does suck. I mean I wasn't entirely sold on Live to Serve being a must have in a combat cleric build but I'm thinking I'd rather have say Bowbreaker 3 than an A skill.

I think a fun build for Serra would be Absorb/Assault/Pain, Rehabilitate, Heavenly Light, one of Atk or Spd+3, Wrathful Staff, and Savage Blow.

Healing and damage absolutely everywhere.

I was thinking Absorb, Martyr, Atk+3, Wrathful Staff, probably keep Hone Attack 3 and Swift Balm just because they're good and she already has those, but if Heavenly Light heals the healer that might actually be funny.

That healers can use Savage Blow is kinda hilarious. I'm not convinced that skill is actually any good but I'm tempted just because.

i've already got 2 healers that are 5* (Sakura, Lachesis) and a couple strong bow users, including a 5* Klein for damage and a 5* Faye for support (no counter attack + debuffs = dead units by a followup).

fuck no i'm not pulling on that again.
just make a healer with wrathful staff as one of the mini boss fights so i can get two of 'em. lachesis on offense would be great.

I decided to skip on the new banner. Celica is basically Tharja, Mae is worse than Linde, and colorless orbs are a trap. Took one pull on the mage banner and got a +Atk - HP Linde. With Reinhardt/Linde/Tharja/Soren, my mage core is set for the foreseeable future. No Shannas to be found for Desperation though.

My horse team is Reinhardt/ Xander/ Clarine/ Cecilia so there's not much room for anyone else unless they are just plain better

No horses. It's Celica's starting team in FE2 so it's the 4 spellcasters (though Celica has a sword in the games as well)

Okay so Serra's base stats are

30/33/36 HP
27/30/33 ATK
27/31/34 SPD
18/21/24 DEF
30/33/36 RES

Keeping in mind the ultimate goal is to have a +10 Serra at some point and that I want to make her a violent cleric with Wrathful Staff, what is the ideal nature to go for. Is it best to +SPD or +ATK? Should I be aiming for -RES because her RES is fantastic regardless (if only she could use Glacies) or should I shoot for -DEF since her def is terrible anyway.

I have a +ATK -DEF and a +SPD -HP. I'm thinking +ATK and -DEF is actually the ideal nature period here? Maybe +ATK -HP?

I think DEF is the best bane for her. You want to keep her away from anything that can attack her physically anyway, and that doesn't impact her ability to survive mages.

I'm not sure there's an easy answer between SPD and ATK. SPD allows her to avoid being doubled by some of the mostly common mages. You can regularly keep her at 38 or 39 speed with speed seal and a buff. But you already have +ATK -DEF, which sounds good as well. At max merge level, ATK is relatively more valuable than other stats as units increase in survivability more than they do in offensive firepower

Sunk 80 orbs. Got a 5* Camilla, a 5* of the Green Tome User and Red Tome User on the banner-- this is all exclusively pulling colorless btw got very "lucky" on the pulls that came up 100% non-colorless.

That being said absorbing Green Tome and Red Tome into Robin F to give Gronnowl+ and Distant Def 3 I'm actually thinking about this.

Wish I knew if they'd ever release event units with natures. Kinda feels suboptimal to sink resources into a neutral stat unit.

The skills and "+1s" transfer. Keep in mind that that you will need to pay another 20000 Feathers to bring the second character to 5* if you are promoting them to 5*.

Skill transfer on merge can also be used to reduce SP grinding. You train the character you are merging in to earn SP and use the SP to learn inherited skills. You then merge the character into your main character and the skills will pass over. This works even if the characters have mismatched star level. The skills will still transfer but you don't get a "+1" level.

Trying to think about how I want to set up my Nino.

I have a spare Hinata so I can give her Fury 3(Life and Death requires sacrificing my only Jaffar who I kind of want for a theme team).

I could sacrifice Shanna for Desperation 3, but I don't have a spare and she has +spd - Def which doesn't seem bad for her.

I'm not sure what to give her for her Special.

Moonblow(Would take 2k feathers to get an Odin to 4*) [Resolve combat as if foe suffered Def/Res-30%.]

Draconic Aura(I have a spare F.Corrin, with - Attack I can get rid of) [Grants +30% to Atk.]

Glimmer(I have a spare Lon'qu with mediocre Ivs) [Grants +50% to damage dealt.]

Moonblow has the advantage of being the quickest to charge up(Gronnblade+ gives +1 to the special charge), but it would still cost me some feathers to get it(I'd still have a little over 20k thankfully).


No idea what I'd put for her C skill.
Unfortunately I have no real way to get Threaten Resistance (I'm not using 22k feathers just to sacrifice Oboro, and I don't want to sacrifice Usurla. ).

I could give her Threaten Attack, but would that even save a -HP Nino?

Nothing else seems really worthwhile.

If your Nino is plus speed, I recommend Fury. Otherwise, Darting Blow is nice. I don't like Life and Death very much on my mages. I need them to bait attacks occasionally. Nino needs that resistance against Reinhardt, and she does not need the extra attack.

Desperation is ideal for the B slot. You could hold out for another Shanna if you like her and want to be patient. She is fairly common. I like Moonbow on my mages due to the reduced charge. It'll kill anything when her special activates in any case, so go for the quick charge.

C is whatever you want it to be. If your team doesn't need another hone/fortify ability, Breath of Life can be nice. Especially if you run her with a tank like Nowi who likes to be at a HP threshold.

I did get a 5* Abel from some summoning. I might put him on my horse team over cecilia, if only because I dont want to spend the feathers getting her to 5*.

Phew, with 30 minutes to spare, I snag 4* Ursula.

Had to raise a Nino and Zephiel like crazy. Nino to one shot Ursula(Jaffar could but he can't deal with the armors), and Zephiel because even M.Robin was taking too much damage from the poison dagger jerks. A pity I don't have enough feathers to raise both of them to 5*. Zephiel has more than earned his keep.
