I love a lot of things B8 loves, but everything I can think of I liked as a result of something from outside. For example me refinding Pokemon was down to my university room-mate. Wrestling was down to Rock coming back, MGS I discovered a couple of years before Gamefaqs. HIMYM because my housemates rec'd it. LOST because it was heavily hyped when they started showing it over here. 24 and Harry Potter because of my sister. etc etc.

I remember D/P hypetrain from here getting me to buy that. So disappoint.

Well, not disapoint in the game. Just in myself because I was so terribly OCD about berries and harvesting them all. I never advanced in the game because I would spend all my hours just looping around collecting, watering, and planting more berries

not sure. there'd be less VNs sure but b8 didn't introduce me to 'em and i'd have figured out where i'm at now anyway. b8 doesn't affect my games much either. some vg music though sure - euthenasia comes to mind immediately - but for the most part that category is okay.
