They're teenagers in the manga and I don't think they're given ages in the games. The anime says they're 10, but they're very developed 10-year olds >_>

I sold my sig for gas money. SuperNiceDog just kicked my ass.
Jessie is 15... possibly. In the Japanese version of Movie 2, she explicitly says she's 15. Then again, in the show itself, Jessie and James occasionally drive, but then again, they're criminals and not really likely to respect driver's license laws.

Jessie and James not being like 30-something seems entirely insane to me
I'm pretty sure all of the playable trainers are 10, since that's the age you have to be before you can become a Pokemon trainer. I know there were some 'rumors' (aka wishful thinking on the part of some perverts) before B/W came out that the female character from that was actually 16 (because she 'looks 16') but as far as I know, no evidence ever came to light that she was actually 16 years old. I think this is just one of those false information things that gets passed around so much that people start believing it is fact. My response is the same as it has always been, just because she looks older than 10 doesn't mean anything. So does every other Pokemon lead male and female.

Age in pokemon makes no sense at all. I'm actually wondering if it's just lazy translation or something, or if they just always say 10 years old now. Ash (in the anime) has been 10 forever. In the anime they said he was 10 in B/W 1... but if you remember way back ages ago when Misty said they've been on the journey for a year. So it means Ash was 11 at one point... but time regressed.
Also, as far as I know, the BW ages have not been made official by Nintendo at all who seem to be constantly dodging the question.

The f***?
You can't be serious. She has to be at least 20. I can't comprehend where they get these ages from.

Age in the Pokemon world doesn't work like the age in our world.
Also May has a chest at "10" years old. Either time flows differently, or someone is BSing us on the 10 years thing.
Edit: Lol Bianca(who is adorable). Yeah the B/W female lead looks no younger than 16, which is legal and old enough to make adult decisions. Add that in to the fact that time is different in Pokemon, yes she is hot and would be considered legal in certain places.

Personally I don't think the creators care, and the dubbers don't care even more. Jesse said she was 17 (might have been 16) in the anime episode "The Ultimate Test" (I think...) but I also remember a long ass time ago on the 4kids site it said her age (along with James) was 14 or something.
yeah i think the only '10 year old' were ash and gary. the rest of them weren't, especially with B/W as i'm pretty sure that's even made clear. so yeah, you're mostly looking at teens.

No, Dawn and May are ten. You get your first pokemon when you're ten, this is established in the anime. Dawn's first episode is her tenth birthday. Brock is established to be fifteen. I don't know about Iris.
