I was actually thinking about it, I'm just not sure enough people would be interested. Back then the average user was in high school and had the time to dedicate to it. Now I don't see any user contests. I might post an interest gauge topic in a week or so though just to see.

Phelps vs. Wazowski was a bit tough, but in the end, the epicness of the 2008 Olympics was just too much for Wazowski to handle. While the most exciting Phelps performance is pretty obvious...

Which was more exciting?

1. Jason Lezak swims the anchor leg of the 4x100m freestyle relay in record time to make up a deficit against the French team and 100m record-holder Alain Bernard, resulting in Team USA winning by 0.08 s and keeping Phelps's quest for 8 gold medals alive
2. Phelps goes against common wisdom and takes a little "half-stroke" near the end of the 100m butterfly to out-touch Serbia's Milorad Cavic by 0.01 s.

Personally, I vote for Lezak's anchor leg as the highlight of Phelps's run to 8 golds, but both were incredible to watch.

User contests just aren't in season right now, it's the season of the save contests at the moment. Still, I remember the good times with trying to come up with every loophole I could using the Ghost. Fun times. ^_^

yeah those were good days. Also the website no longer exists so I'm going from scratch, I'm thinking about starting over with the original contests and just a few abilities, because it required less work on the user's part. I think trying to get people to sign up for the MMO right off the bat would be a tough sell, last time it just naturally evolved into that.

It would be like the original Half (Assed) User Contest. Probably 10-15 different abilities, each user starts off with a random 2 of them. It would still have the challenge topics, and it's single elimination. You get 1 more ability each time you win.
