This is my D&D resume.

Also I already showed this to Kanz and Scep so might as well post it here too.

"Comes from a small, densely populated island, city-like in structure. He grew up under his (very successful) merchant father, his mother working the shop as well. While he was trained, and worked as, a banker for a number of years, he found it pretty damn boring and secretly started embezzling money from the bank to fund his personal adventuring fantasy, eventually making up lies about the debacle and getting pretty f***ing good at it. A few months passed, and when he thought he saved up enough, bought a few things from another part of town, and jumped on a delivery ship heading out, leaving a note at home saying he would return one day and pay back the debt he accumulated by stealing the bank's money (he has no intention of doing this). These ships are often run by adventurers attempting to make a few bucks, due to the scarce number of people willing to venture outside. They were hardy people, ready to let another join their ranks. While not the type of adventure he was looking for, being a glorified delivery boy, it was something refreshingly different, and he didn't mind it at all."

There are reasons for apologizing to the Captain. Mostly in regards to where she shouted at him.

Recap of the RP minisession last night
- The party met Maple, the dryad inn owner
- Jean (indirectly) got ten lightning arrows
- The captured Fury soldier was murdered by Bea's identical sister Dea who was like really angry and stuff for her sister's and father's deaths or whatever, you know?
- Euri and Valerian decided to rest outside of the town instead of inside of it

Yeah, Scep and Kanz told me about a spot, and this conveniently crosses over with my very recent (As in yesterday) wanting to learn how to play D&D.

It'll be interesting,

4th edition is a great system to learn first. In spite of what those stuck in 3.5e will tell you, the streamlining done to skills and combat make the game so much more enjoyable to play.

If you know where you found them, you can just make a txt file with links. It's what I'd do myself.

If you know where you found them, you can just make a txt file with links. It's what I'd do myself.

No prob, I generally add new stuff to it periodically when browsing /tg/, and once I find a way to get all the crap off one of my other hard drives that'll probably go up there too.

Summary of the session:

-Boner joined, and quickly left. Not his style.
-We arrived at an elven temple, where one of the Furies had taken residence. Surprisingly, the nuns had been spared.
-Entering, we explored the temple, and performed its trials: The Trial of Wisdom, the Trial of Patience, and the Trial of Physique, except...
-The last Trial room had been demolished. Eren was waiting below. A fierce battle ensued, but in the end, missing two PCs was too much...
-And Valerian was killed, in a spiteful retaliation from Eren, after the whole team had been defeated, his heart crushed.
-Mourning Theme:
-Everybody levels up. The Survivors gain 1000 XP. Valerian gains 500, though he has died.

On the final note of the recap, is it OK if I swap out my hide armor for scale Anagram? We can say that the resurrection ritual alters Val's appearance as well as simply reviving him if necessary. I kind of need to switch armors ASAP. :-/

Also this is the errata'd text on magic missile:

level 21: 5 + Intelligence modifier force damage
Special: If the implement used with this power has an enhancement bonus add that bonus to the damage. In addition, you can use this power as a ranged basic attack


So basically if I have Int 5 with a +2 staff at level 6, I select a target within 20 squares and deal 9 damage. No attack or damage rolls so it benefits from very little (including white lotus feats). It provokes opportunity attacks in melee because it is a ranged attack though.
