True, but the main reason he has a title now is not because he's an ROH guy originally, but because he's a recognizable face that new viewers might recognize from his time in TNA.

To pull a JaKyL...

WWE Championship Fun Facts
---There have been nine different title reigns this year.
-On one night, three different people were the WWE Champion. Half a month later, none of them were.
-Four reigns were under 30 days. Six were under 60 days, not including the current one which will not pass 60 days by the end of the year.
-Chris Jericho is a one time WWE Champion. Shawn Michaels is a three time WWE Champion. John Cena is a three time WWE Champion this year.

Rock only had 2 reigns in '99

Foley came into the year as Champ (Well his title win didn't air until '99 already started but I always count by the actual day won).
Rock won it back at the Rumble
Foley won it back at Halftime Heat
Rock won it back on Raw
Austin won it at WM
Taker won it at Over the Edge
Austin won back the night after KotR
Foley won it for a 3rd time at Summerslam
Triple H won it the next night
Vince won it on SD and vacated it
Triple H won it out of vacancy at Unforgiven
Big Show won it at Survivor Series

I'm liking most of the results, and the first/last matches were fantastic.

And we knows Daniel Bryan said he was going to cash in at Wrestlemania... but then he tried to cash in on Mark Henry when he was injured and revealed both in interview and promo that he'd rather take the opportunity and become champ, especially with him being so excited about becoming the champ and it being taken away.

He's consistent to what he decided on instead of just turning back again for no reason. Even fits since Big Show pestered him into using the briefcase to become the champ, so now yet again Big Show's created a monster that's screwed him over.

Honestly the only anti-Punk sentiment I get is the fact that he's been a bit irresponsible with the mic. Like, saying how boring Raw has been, and burying people and stuff. I kind of see that.

But yeah the board has been anti-Punk since he became huge in July and August. They're just fools who turn on what's popular and like stuff when it's more cult - typical internet, really. Right now they're in love with Ziggler but they're going to hate him when he gets his ME push. In fact Ziggler now is what Punk was in, like, June. Silly board.

I loved the TLC but then I'm biased towards weapon matches. It did so some cool stuff though. The "Punk overcoming the odds" thing with the handcuffs, Miz trolling him, Ricardo, Del Rio looking like a total boss with the chairarmbreaker and the laddarmbreaker (yes I am now using those words). Nice finish as well.

I still wouldn't put it above Punk/Cena but that's just on a pedestal for me. I'm pretty sure I wasn't that hyped for a match since SvS 2001, and even then I'm not sure.

As for the PWB, them turning on Ryder was really f***ing annoying when trying to rally Ryder in BFC2. I had to PM them rather than mass-rallying >_<

Let's be honest though, he pretty much has. He's The Rock. He could walk into a ring and say "FINALLY...." and that's like, an auto-win right there against 99% of everyone in the industry

Well yeah I don't think anyone would argue that he's winning the court of public opinion.

PWB just thinks that all of Cena's counter-arguments are weak and that Rock is totally 100% dominating Cena in the debate, when in reality it's the other way around and I think that's intentional.

Rock is playing to the masses because that's what he does, Cena's side of the story holds much more water, but the crowd still says Cena's wrong and Rock is right, and THAT is what has finally "gotten to Cena" after years of letting the hate bounce off him.

They could bring Punk into his turn as well (and probably will, once Rock is out of the equation). Cena works hard for the crowd and is as "real" a nice guy as they come, but Punk, and his theme song, basically tells the crowd "hey I'm exploiting and using you, cult of personality, I need you on side to make the changes I want to make blah blah blah" and they still love him as much as or more than Cena. So yeah plenty of material there.

One more thing tonight....

Christian. CM Punk. Mark Henry. Zack Ryder. Daniel Bryan.

In 2011 WWE has proven that even if you don't "fit the mold," that even if you aren't someone who Vince sees as an ideal Champion, that even if the company has given up on you...there is always a light at the end of the tunnel if you just work hard enough. Yeah, the golden boys may still get more opportunities than you ever will, but the door is unlocked. All you have to do is kick it in hard enough.

I don't really like Cena's argument because it kind of sounds like "WRESTLING IS A CULT ONCE YOU ARE IN YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DO ANYTHING ELSE OR LIKE ANYTHING ELSE AT ALL. YOUR LIFE BELONGS TO THE FANS." which is a nice feeling when talking about yourself, but when pushing that ideal onto somebody else...it just rubs me the wrong way. A guy can love the fans and still love himself enough not to want to wrestle full time, in my opinion. So all of his "THE ROCK ISN'T HERE" jokes seem like...well, they fall flat on me.

They either mean that he wants to say that The Rock is a bad person for not dedicating his life to wrestling, which is something I personally disagree with, or he is trying to imply that he is a better person for dedicating his life to wrestling. My issue with that is that...you don't get a medal for participation in the WWE. I don't care if he's there every day for the rest of the universe's existence and The Rock is only there twice a year. If The Rock entertains me more, I'm gonna side with The Rock.

I mean I get where Cena is coming from and why you would believe he was right but...it just rubs me the wrong way, honestly.

It's really more to do with the fact that the crowd doesn't care about the disagreement between the two. They could be arguing over colors for curtains in The Rock's house. Seriously, they could come out to the ring, each carrying a curtain set, and ask the audience which is better, and the fans would pick The Rock's if it was literally a patchwork of swastikas or pentagrams or whatever.

Because whatever they're arguing about, the crowd is choosing to see it as an opportunity to voice their opinion that the Attitude Era product is superior to the PG Era product. For that reason, I've pretty much stopped paying attention to what they actually say to/about each other. It just doesn't seem relevant to the story at this point.

I actually called a Christian reign in the chat. Said he'd lose it back to Show this Smackdown. But I took a more positive view on it and said it would be because the creative team thinks Show's heel turn and the ensuing feud works better with Show stealing away Bryan's dreams from him, not just because they're fickle.

Well it's not like Christian's 2-day reign was about "fickleness." They clearly had a long-term plan there, in hindsight.

If Christian had lost his rematch at Over the Limit and then shuffled back down to the midcard I wouldn't have included him on my list of names that killed the glass ceiling dead this year, since that would really just be a case of "right place right time" and have absolutely nothing to do with how hard Christian has worked or how he has altered WWE's perception of him.

Well yeah, maybe Christian's reign wasn't the best example of them being fickle. In fact they've handled the WHC with some responsibility. But they've been playing hot potato with the WWE Championship, tossing it back onto Cena whenever it seems like whoever its on hasn't been boosting ratings or buy rates. Either that, or they just wanted to get Cena up to ten WWE Chamionship reigns in time for his showdown with The Rock so it could be a big talking point. I don't know.

Who on the WWE roster is now farthest below on the card where they should be based on their talent and potential?

William Regal doesn't count.

My vote goes to Tyson Kidd. I feel like there's no reason that he couldn't have Jinder Mahal's current spot on the card (with a different angle obviously) and hopefully the added spotlight would spur him on into improving and refining his persona.

We talk about how Ziggler has outgrown Vickie, but I think Kidd could actually use Vickie right now.
