Previous results: After Iron Blue Intention tied it at 7-7, The Plan took the next three votes to give the Frozen Synapse track a bit of a lead...but in the overnight, IBI swept the votes 4-0 to make an unlikely come-from-behind victory. CV: Portrait of Ruin advances to face the winner of today's match, 11-10.
------------------------------------------ Loser's Bracket B Champion - Chrono Cross Scars of Time
Only one song today out of four I even like. I must be the only person who thinks either Scars or Shadowlord is horribly overrated, the way other people rave about them. IMO Shadowlord is just plain boring, especially during the long build-up at the beginning. Scars is an extremely well-written piece, and it's likeable, but I don't see how it's the collective #1 for the board.

I think someone is being way, way too sensitive. Do we have to stop saying "You got owned" in order to not offend black people due to slavery? - wg64Z

You're not alone. Now that we're getting close to the end, there are probably going to be very few songs that I like, because it seemed like my votes were going to the loser quite often in the winner's bracket, especially with ARGH Tornelico 2 winning the whole damn thing. Scars of Time easily gets my vote, though, because it's merely boring (and actually becomes decent later on), whereas Shadowlord is absolutely unbearable.
However, I can't agree with you completely, as I find both songs in the JFF finals to be amazing. Just because I love both songs, though, doesn't make this a tough decision. Rendezvous, easily.

Oh, a big machine with flashy lights. A big machine like that has me written all over it. Well, okay, it doesn't. But give me time... and a crayon --11th Doctor
I'm sorry Shadowlord, you're great and all but SCARS OF TIME has you beat kinda easily Forest Entrance is kinda catchy, but RENDEZVOUS is really cool and one of my newer favorite songs

Really, I had the same thoughts about Scars - then I replayed Chrono Cross and watched the intro in full. Instant opinion switch, it was kind of odd in how much I began to like it afterward. Will vote on the JFF match later!

There's already a FFXI-2, it's called Final Fantasy XII, and while XI sucks, it sucks even more- SS6Adam. Squall, Shadow, Paine, Vash, Kain, Dante, and Gatsu.
Don't get me wrong, I really like Scars of Time, but I agree with whoever said Dream is better. I'd vote Dream over Shadowlord, but not Scars of Time, in this case. Actually, for the second match, I was happy with Rendezvous' second half, due to my liking of vocals. Probably my favorite Sora piece, but its first part is not as appealing to me and it sounds cut off at the end. Jumper (Forest Entrance) is fun, not my favorite from Castle Crashers but good enough to go above Rendezvous.
