Oh right. I was going to ask a question. Does anyone know if the rewards for the bamboo cutting game constant? Like, will I always get a Goddess Plume for 28 cuts? Seems like it'd be a handy way to get one or two items for an upgrade.

Also this game is pretty lewd. Kina and the item check lady want to ****.

You guys are making me giddy. I'm still in the process of reaching dungeon #3, and this game is already fantastic. I haven't felt "that magic feeling" from a game since the first Galaxy, but this is already surpassing that.

Anyway I beat the game today. It never stops getting better and better. If you're only at the first couple of dungeons, you haven't seen anything yet. 10/10 game, but not better than OoT, and Xenoblade still wins my GOTY.

Also what's with the hating on Fi in this topic, she's top tier. You guys must not be making use of her enough. Her "information" on enemies and characters is highly entertaining. She literally will never let those fancy Bokoblin underpants go.

this game is forcing me to use her too much! she's given me hints the moment I walk into a room at times without even giving me a chance to figure something out myself, wtf nintendo? I think if they backed off the incessant hand holding and let you skip text, this would probably wind up being the best game in the series. as it stands I think it will be the best game in the series on the first playthrough but it will be a chore to replay because of these things

You are absolutely correct. I can't make it to the first temple on a second run because her hand holding is very glaring. First time through I loved her, she explained everything and I had a reason to take it slow. Second time I just want her to shut the **** up.

played through a few dungeons of LttP earlier today. I was struck by the severe lack of forced text. felt pretty refreshing! I dug SS a lot but yeah I doubt I'll wanna replay it often. it's gonna hurt sitting through all that talking in future playthroughs.

Just finished the first temple after around 5 hours. This game is great, that boss fight was so good. The beetle is kinda too gimmicky for my liking and not cool enough like the Spinner, but it's alright.

How many dungeons are there in the game?

Oh and also, did anyone else have problems in the beginning with the items by pressing A to put them away (like the slingshot) but actually using them instead? Got used to TP controls and it wasted a lot of ammo for me buhh. Also you literally have to aim now with ranged weapons instead of being able to lock on and fire without aiming. Not sure I like that but oh well.

Wow, I don't know what was more impressive: the cutscene before the sixth dungeon's boss fight (just wait till you see it), or the boss fight itself. By far the best fight of the game so far - that was genuinely intense, which is something I don't normally say about Zelda boss fights!

Dungeon itself was okay. Not as good as the two before it though.

Played about 8 hours today in one sitting, taking a little break.

Beat the third dungeon (oh my god...that was so good) and the pincer upgrade has made me love the beetle. Taking bombs and killing enemies with it is so satisfying. Also leaf blower is amazing.

I really like the fact that even in the third dungeon, old items like the slingshot and the beetle are still essential. Hopefully none of the items become like the Spinner though I can't really imagine any more practical uses for the leaf blower...sadly.

I never used the slingshot, it just stuns most enemies so I spent half the game thinking "why haven't I gotten a real projectile yet"

and then I got the bow and the quiver is really small and you have to waste spaces in your pouch to carry very many arrows :(

I'd also like to note that the mining facility had such god-awesome music in its past-version, wish there was a track uploaded to youtube or something but whatever's there seems to be a mix between present and past.

I've just got my 2nd flame. What's with the Zelda obsession with so many bosses having one big eye? They're all [Do Something] to stun the boss/make it fall over/open eye and then stab the eye with your sword to kill them. They're not bad bosses, but...

The rips that are out there so far are horrible. So much of the music is dynamic with several variations, and nobody has taken the time to separate them and put them in sequence yet.

I'd pay attention to the ffshrine forums, they're on the job as usual.
