(6) Goku From Dragon Ball, Goku is a martial artist with a pure heart. Goku is quick to show mercy and often gives adversaries many chances to redeem themselves, though he can kill if the need arises. As a Saiyan, Goku has always possessed superhuman strength (he is capable of lifting many tons), flight, and reflexes, and is capable of reacting and fighting at superhuman speeds. Goku is not terribly bright outside of combat, but in terms of fighting he is a genius, capable of learning attacks after simply seeing them once.
Goku's signature move is the Kamehameha wave, a massive ki energy blast. He can amplify his power by transforming into a Super Saiyan, estimated to increase his power by 50 times; Super Saiyan 2, which is twice as strong; and Super Saiyan 3, which is four times as strong as the second level (though Goku has yet to master Super Saiyan 3). He can teleport nigh-instantly with Instant Transmission, though he needs to sense life to teleport somewhere.

(2) Yuki Nagato From The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Yuki is an emotionless artificial lifeform with tremendous powers. As a Data Entity, she exhibits the ability of Data Control, which functions as a potent brand of reality warping. Among the abilities she exhibits, she has managed to exist outside the space-time continuum, rewrite her universe, and strip the sleeping god Haruhi of her powers. Perhaps even more notable than her Data Entity abilities is Nagato's intellect, which is developed almost beyond mortal comprehension. She has previously understood the rules and concepts of a game instantaneously, created flawless strategies based on her observations and was able to learn how to play a guitar mere moments after receiving one, and knowledge of the future thanks to the existence of her future selves feeding her information.
So yeah. Nagato massively outclasses Goku. You don't mess with a mighty reality warper.

Yuki literally can't fight as far as I know. Throwing the whole reality creating stuff around's dumb, given Goku's taken down the dragonball dragons that manipulate reality too.
That, and it's dumb given the sheer amount of creator gods in fiction that get wrecked.

How do we know that this attack was in fact a Universe-busting attack? If it has busted a Universe, then it won't leave evidence that the attack was ever used. So, either we trust a villain, or a villain lied.
Goku's the kind of guy who'll just wait if the opponent doesn't have power that he can sense or malicious intent and is doing something weird. The weird thing Nagato is doing? Swirling her arms, changing all of reality so that Goku doesn't have anymore power and can be beaten easily.
Plus, Nagato apparently doesn't need any physical body, but I doubt it.
God this match was stupid. This wasn't even a fight and there wasn't even an argument. So I'm still going to keep posting because this Yuki stuff is stupid and I want to better understand it:

This is a more solid argument. Gotenks could open a dimension by screaming, Goku could probably do the same.

...man, you never read early dbz? yeah, one of the ginyu force members had two powers, he could freeze time or he could freeze your mind. a different one had a body swap ability. those were the two main interesting ginyu force members.
