Yeah, there's nothing wrong with this. Doctor Who has Doctor Who Confidential. Some people enjoy the BTS and discussion stuff. I'd prefer it for something like Breaking Bad and Community though. Not so much TWD.

The actress just looks like a b****. Maybe they figured they could just see it too easily.

Well, yeah. They're obviously making some changes, beefing it up or speeding it up where deemed necessary, etc. But think of it this way:

Darryl isn't in the GN.

Episode started good, then kind of went down hill. Why the hell was the kid going to go try to pet a deer.

It started out good but once everything slowed down and people actually began to open their mouths it went downhill. Same thing as last season. These people are just too damn unlikeable. I think it's a fault on the actors, they all just look like douches.

That's the shows biggest problem for me, I can't say I'm particularly invested in any of the characters. As such it's only fun to watch when there are, you know, zombies and ****.

I think the actors are alright(I haven't read any of the comic/graphic novel w.e the hell you want to call it), but when it slows down, it really slows down. I'm fine with character development and all that, but the ending was like, all filler till the could get to the cliffhanger for the next episode.

It's poor writing paired with the actors being unlikable.

They should just make this the Darryl Gets S*** Done show and it'd be 10x better. Figures that the character that's supposed to be the least likable is the only one anyone cares about.

He's not even supposed to be the least likable now, I don't think, so it's a step in the right direction. They blatantly distanced him from Merle in this episode, at least.

I'm only just now watching the rerun but I raged a bit when Andrea was cowering in the bathroom.

Andrea is supposed to be a god damn badass.

Daryl is the most likable guy now, if anything. He was shown as easily the most competent and badass member of the group (and hell, the smartest too - the way he saved T-Dawg was really smart quick thinking). And I agree with the general sentiment: the episode opened really well but fell flat at the end. Those speeches to Jesus were really hokey. I actually watched most of the Season One marathon before the premiere, and it wasn't as good as I remembered. Guess that's the power of Breaking Bad.

Not saying it's comparable, but NGamer and I spent a solid 30+ minutes giving what I thought was a really good, B8 podcast worthy discussion of Breaking Bad after we recorded the contest podcast. He flubbed it and decided not to record though.

I like the show, but it hasn't really drawn me in like the graphic novel, and I do not like graphic novels much.

Particularly they have made Andrea pretty lame, when she's awesome in the comics. I get that they want to show more character development (which is harder in a TV show) so I hope it's good in the long run, but it is still annoying.

At least Darryl is awesome.

And it's not like I have a problem with them adding or changing things from the comic. It's just that the ideas they do have usually fall flat. With the exception of Darryl I can't really think of anything good that was added or changed.

Which of the characters left on TV are not in the comic? I heard most of those characters got killed off/left in Season One, but I get the feeling that someone like T-Dawg might be unique to the show.
