Daryl is the most likable guy now, if anything. He was shown as easily the most competent and badass member of the group (and hell, the smartest too - the way he saved T-Dawg was really smart quick thinking). And I agree with the general sentiment: the episode opened really well but fell flat at the end. Those speeches to Jesus were really hokey. I actually watched most of the Season One marathon before the premiere, and it wasn't as good as I remembered. Guess that's the power of Breaking Bad.

I'd prefer it for something like Breaking Bad and Community though.
Not saying it's comparable, but NGamer and I spent a solid 30+ minutes giving what I thought was a really good, B8 podcast worthy discussion of Breaking Bad after we recorded the contest podcast. He flubbed it and decided not to record though.
