I was more annoyed that she was so intent on putting that gun together for no reason that it literally nearly got her killed.

I was more annoyed that she was so intent on putting that gun together for no reason that it literally nearly got her killed.

She had a reason! She had to prove to all the men (4/5ths of whom are either trained policemen, expert hunters, or black) that she's just as good with a gun as them! Disregard the fact that she has literally never used one before! She's a strong woman!

Forget the suicide thing, she was a terrible character long before that. Like, literally the second she showed up in the second episode and was screaming and crying at Rick that he got them all killed when he had no idea what was going on and she had willingly signed up for a dangerous mission. Or when she put the entire camp in unnecessary danger by refusing to let them dispose of her dead sister. Or when she stuck her nose in another couple's business and got the old lady punched in the face. I could go on all day.

To top it off Andrea's situation is Alot different than some dude whose life is going a bit rough. The world is over, society is crumbled, she was forced to kill her own sister, and they're pretty much just moving along aimlessly. If she wants to go then let her go. Dale acting like her father was childish and immature.

God are they even trying to make Andrea likable? She literally spent the entire last episode begging for a gun (which she isn't trained with), and then when she saw a Walker this episode she completely bugged the **** out and panicked. And she wants them to trust her with a gun when one unnecessary gunshot can put everybody's life in danger? Or even when she can accidentally shoot one of them in a panic?

And then she glares at Dale when he asks if she's OK.

I hate her so much.

Remind me not to come to you if I'm ever thinking about suicide. And believe me, I really wish Dale had let her do it so she wouldn't be on my TV anymore. Not to mention you're completely trivializing the situations of people who commit suicide. Yes, there are dumb people who kill themselves because a girl doesn't like them or because they get bullied at school, but there are tons of people that kill themselves because they have nothing left to live for, or at least they think they do.

She needs to STFU, everybody is in this situation and she's not the only person who has lost family members. I literally cringed today when she used the situation regarding the little girl to remind everybody about how much her life sucks. "I'm sorry your daughter is missing, I know how you feel because in case you forgot my sister died."

On an unrelated note, they should have cast Sean Patrick Flannery as Merle.

Its definitely selfish of Andrea to want to commit suicide. She's a resource. They're such a small group that the loss of one member is a huge blow to their ability to survive. Therefore, if she killed herself, it is more likely that Dale will die as well. Therefore its not her decision since her survival means more people survive

It is also selfish of everyone else to stop her from killing herself so that they can keep her around.

And I really hate when people perpetrate the myth that "lots of people" kill themselves over trivial things. The vast majority of people who kill themselves on purpose do it because they have mental problems and chemical imbalances that make them unhappy.

Andrea literally has nothing to live for, and while logically, things COULD get better, when you are in such a situation, you are probably thinking emotionally, not like a ****ing robot. You quite simply lack empathy if you cannot understand her feelings or actions.

I understand her feelings and actions, but that doesn't make me like her. She hasn't done anything redeeming since her sister died. Not that a lot of characters have done something worthwhile, but at least some of them are likeable!


S2 reminds me how much I loved this show's atmosphere despite all the bull**** you have to put up with. It's worth it.
