Like I said, I've been solo laning ALOT lately and the only person able to outlast me is Morde.

Yeah, cass is basically a one-frame link character, in fighting game terms. Imagine chaining something like 30 moves together with single frame windows, and if you do it you win. That's Cass in a nutshell.


On another note, literally giving a carry ONE FRICKIN' HUNDRED FREE CRIT DAMAGE AND AD. Jesus, what the HELL is wrong with RIOT?! 350% crits with an extra 100 AD. Ridiculous!

No, they're buffing Bloodlust. Read what was posted about Trynd: Bloodlust now scales with Rage, both its crit damage boost and AD bonus. So if 100 Rage = 100% bonus crit damage...250% base plus IE + 100% Bloodlust = 350% total multiplier. Which is completely stupid, for sure.

So I finally just played three games with nerfed Eve. Lost every game and had somewhat poor KDA, but the pubs were pretty bad in all three of them. I also mistakenly got Soul Stealer too early in one of them, so yeah, a little of bad partners and being rusty.

I think the lack of stun mattered in each game, but only once. Strangely only one time did I feel it cost me a kill.

Once I tried to gank a Leblanc and had her very close and she bursted me down. Whoops.
Once a TF used his teleport to jump on me when I was stealthed-- had I had stun I could've got away
Once I could've saved myself almost dying (then subsequently dying from a Karth ult) by stunning a Katarina with Oracle's who was doing Death Lotus right next to me.

I stand by the idea that the lack of health gain on the ult hurts more. There were many times after teamfights where I was at 400 hp or so where I had to withdraw when I'd normally be at 1000 or so.

Might start building deathfire grasp early now that hitting out of stun matters less-- always seemed like a good one to get but I shied away cause if you open with DFG they didn't get stunned and if you opened with Ravage they were mostly dead anyway and didn't seem worth it. Maybe I'll build her like I do Veigar for fun and get Gunblade too. I dunno. I'll have to play a few more games to know for sure how to adapt, but it doesn't seem too bad.

From what I understand, they won't release Leona on the US server before they can release her on the EU server, because then Europeans would log into American accounts and crash our servers. The problem is that they can't release her in Europe because they're trying to split the servers, and they don't even have a timeframe on that at all, so everything has turned into a huge mess.

I'm just glad that they're apparently reworking how Eve's ult works so that on activation it gives her a short term damage shield. Well, hopefully she gets more protection than the crap she has now.

the always-on oracles seems nice, but the always-on stealth seems a bit insane, especially since that's a level 1 ability

so how are they going to make the stealth skills worth upgrading after level 1?

Except she doesn't have 1.4k range. So, nothing like urgot at all!

(Not to say she's bad, but it's a really really poor comparison)

i really love cass and she's a great pubstomper, but a well-timed CC to cleanse poison shuts her down because she has to reapply before twin fang spam again

also inclined to agree your comparison is bad. twin fang is already a targetted skill, urgot is not >_>

from what I read it sounds like the stealth ability will be "level 1 is infinite stealth" which means there's no reason to level that ability if all it gives is the one thing

so either that ability will have something else on it and be OP (infinite stealth and scaling damage/defense/whatever on 1 ability is stupid) or it will be a level 1-only ability and be completely confusing

just my opinion, I could be wrong

The comparison isn't as bad as you're making it out to be.

Both Have a cursor aimed poison and an follow up move that can be spammed relentlessly if the poison is on.

Also, I won't Poison someone with Cleanse......

yeah I'm with realo, cassio is ridiculous

picked her up today and I've gone 2-2 with her, but I was never negative in kda and have usually start out 2/0/3 or 3/1/1 or something. her damage is just crazy if someone can hold the enemy down for a second

I also think the spammable-damage-from-ranged-following-setup-skill comparison is a pretty good analogy, although I would have compared her to ryze because her E reminds me of his Q

That's when you miasma though. Cass' ultimate combo is Q into E into R into W into so many E's your key breaks. In theory at least.

no you misunderstand, realo.

say you're trying to kill a sion. you hit your Q, hit him, then after your first twin fang he stuns you. the before you can twin fang again, the poison fades. then you have to wait the full delay time for the Q to reapply the poison before hitting with twin fang again or else your output is shot because twin fang will go on CD.

i'm not talking about cleanse the summoner spell

like, i'm not saying she's bad or anything. i've played her a fair amount and usually wreck with her, but she's fairly easy to counter if you're smart enough. i actually level my q up first because the AoE in early teamfights is more valuable than twin fang is as a single target nuke at level 9, and Q farms like a boss. FD and I discussed this earlier too, that there's such a relatively high chance to miss a twin fang and let it go on CD and nuke your output, and then you're hooped. she's great while you maintain her, but yeah

her Q is on a 3 second cooldown, and isn't THAT hard to hit if someone is standing there hitting you

also she has 2 other spells that re-apply poison if you can't wait for Q to be up, not to mention that laning with a singed or teemo makes it that much easier

honestly I think keeping poison is easier than keeping up urgot's targeter

edit: AND poison does DoT damage, which urgot's targeter doesn't do

his ONLY advantage is range. that's it

And permaslows. And damage debuffing. And resistance shredding. And total immunity to damage for 3 seconds. ;)

See, you were talking about the conditional targets. I was talking about lane bullying. Cass just can't do the same thing because she has to get into someone's face, while urgot derps at ultra-long range and if the other guy closes in he has a billion tools to guarantee victory. This is why they're not alike: Urgot is ALL about winning the lane decisively, Cass is about farming your core items and laying waste to a teamfight through mad deeps. It's not worth it to compare them. Caitlyn is arguably a better fit, or, as you said, Ryze.

Soooo... Irelia is ridiculously easy to roll games with. Whenever there's a jungler, I solo top and proceed to roll everything. Even with the constant nerfs, she still seems pretty unstoppable. Any thoughts on Irelia from others?

It was plenty constructive. I cant see what elo you are at, but if thats the case it means you are at the elo where you quite literally need to be carrying the game to get out of it. If you cant do that, you probably dont deserve to be out of it. You should be picking strong champions that can decimate entire teams.

You probably shouldnt be picking Caitlyn at that elo for instance. Caitlyn's role is to shut down an opponents farm, assuring that at least 1 of your opponents is undergeared/underleveled. What she doesnt do well is decimate entire teams. You should be sticking to Corki/MF/Vayne as far as AD carries are concerned(Ashe's utility isnt worthwhile at this level of play).

You might be surprised! I've picked up a couple new tricks which would make the matchup fun. Not saying I would beat you for sure, but I think it'd be a lot closer to even. Also, not having to blindfire E into the air just guessing where you might be would help a lot too, obviously. :P
