With End Game having recently ended I was curious who people would pick as their favorite of the original Avengers team because why not. If its not clear I dont just mean your favorite based solely on the first Avengers movie, but on all of their MCU appearances.

I actually never really thought about before Endgame and if I did, I just kinda felt like I didn't have a favourite. But having watched Endgame...it's totally Cap.

Iron Man > Thor > Hulk > Cap > Widow >= Hawkeye is probably how I feel. Iron Man has always been my favorite of the group. Just love his personality and he always feels like he immediately draws your attention when hes talking. A while back I wouldve ranked Thor pretty damn low, but they really turned it around with him in Ragnarok. Makes you almost forget his not so great movies before it. Hulk is good for comedy scenes here and there and I cant help loving the angry green doofus. For whatever reason Ive always kinda felt like Captain America was a boring guy who got great action scenes, but my opinion of him has gone up some too. Feel kinda bad ranking Widow and Hawkeye last, but theyre not bad.

Probably Iron Man cause RDJ is just so damn good as Tony Stark

Iron Man and Thor are the easy 1 and 2, after that it gets a little bit tougher. Never really liked Cap as much as everyone else does, too much of a generic good guy to me.

I think I'd vote Hawkeye if this was ratio of screentime : enjoyment, at least, but it's tough for him.

For me it shifted twice. Originally it was Iron Man, then with Civil War it became Cap because the dude was right, and then with Ragnarok the overhaul of his character made him so enjoyable. Also in Endgame he becomes The Dude and joins the Guardians. He took a voyage to from my least most favorite, but it is Thor now.

I was thinking of trying to do one for Phase 2 and Phase 3, but Im not really sure if it would work out so well. Phase 3 probably adds too many new characters to fit into a poll and Phase 2 probably wouldnt make too exciting/interesting of a poll.

Man this is actually so tough. Overall I love them all quite a lot, but I think for overall consistency, it's Tony and Cap for being so great from the very beginning of the MCU, with Tony getting the slight edge for being so ever present in everything and always being so top notch.

Widow is probably next after them for consistency. Hulk is generally good but only really became great with Professor Hulk, and that's too late in the game to compete. Thor is generally good but became really great during Ragnarok. Too late to compete with the others but putting him above Hulk

Hawkeye.... is great all the time and has some of my favourite scenes in the MCU, but is just too sparingly used. I'd put him even with Hulk.

Pretty tight race between Cap, Iron Man, and Thor. I think I'd give it to Thor because he was the best character in the last two Avengers movies.
