Immigration is not a "solution" because this isn't actually a problem. It's a made up problem.
This is like when they fear-monger about social security going broke - it won't if you make common sense adjustments and continue to pay into it. Same goes with population. Immigration will make up for some of these so-called shortfalls over time I guess, but it's neither a "solution" or a "problem" really. I want kids, but if I had them I would just be reliving the hardships I went through. I basically won proverbial lottery to get out of being homeless(became friends with the guy I currently work for largely by happenstance).
