Biden is pretty progressive on the whole but largely bows to AIPAC and certain red state dems on some critical issues. I think pressure is warranted and the idea that predominantly white liberals have room to lecture Muslims about an ongoing genocide in Gaza is absurd

Yeah and the idea is you force Biden to capitulate through in-party pressure. I've never seen anybody arguing Trump would "Be better." The point is that they feel unsafe regardless until Biden commits to supporting them. He is currently not beyond white house "leaks" that consist of him privately wagging a finger.

Again, it needs to be severally noted that some of the those promoting people to not vote for Biden is also including the general election in November.

Bad faith actors or not, let's not pretend there isn't this effort to try to get people to stay home on the general election too.

2016 went through a very similar phenomenon of a enough voters rallied behind not voting in the primary or general election (because their primary pick lost.) Which ultimately led to Trump winning.

So ya, the distinction Beto is making is fine. But we also can't ignore the repeated 2016 effort that takes Betos and Talibs message and transcends into the general election with some voters.
