I missed yesterday, alas, but would've done Totodile as the only 'mon I skipped Grass for.

That said, this middle stage is... not great, but I like Dewott the best out of all of them.

piplup crashes into garbage here but Dewott's a big bump plus Drizzile I start to like.

Still like Croconaw a lot but I think I really prefer Wartortle the most. I'm a sucker for the wingtip ears and tidal tail. I still remember an old Wartortle toy I had but the tail broke off :(

I don't think any pokemon succeeds at being even parts adorable and badass like Dewott does.

I do love Wartortle as well, best of its line. Sadly there's only a select few I would choose above Dewott.

I remember when everyone hated Oshawott when it was first revealed but I was always on their side. Then the evolutions were revealed and I was greatly rewarded for my faith.

Frogadier is the only other one outside the first three that is okay.

I did not realise how many of these I disliked.

Brionne is an abysmal Pokemon. Might even beat out Combusken for worst starter, because at least with Combusken it's just meh, until you notice it is literal genitalia. Brionne is just hideous and I don't think it was intended to be. Shame, too, because its line is pretty great. If I ever pick up USUM I'm probably picking Rowlet now I know what my poor Popplio would evolve into.

Wartortle and Dewott own this group. I gotta go with Wartortle though, who I've always loved a lot and whose original TCG card is one of my faves.

Dewott is an extraordinarily rare badass middle stage and is objectively the best of its line. Frogadier, like Froakie and Greninja, is pretty cool, and Marshtomp's dead eyes are hilarious.

Wartortle is good and Prinplup is fine - neither is outstanding, however. Croconaw is just a bridge between Totodile and Feraligatr that doesn't feel needed at all (unlike the others). Drizzle is whatever and Brionne is terrible.

I dislike most of these (even ones like Marshtomp and Croconaw where I like the rest of their lines) but Wartortle and Brionne are my favorites of their lines. I'll give Brionne the nod because it's a good girl and deserves more votes :(

Wartortle is my second favorite Pokemon!

Went with Dewott. Dewott and Wartortle are quite a bit above the rest. I actually like the other members of Brionnes line, but Brionne itself is... not great

I always wondered why Wartortle was so popular, but in comparison to most of the others here, Wartortle definitely stands out as one of the better ones. Middle stages are just not all that great usually.

I agree that they might all be the worst in their lines, though that doesn't make them bad. Dewott is the only one I'm not sure is the worst in its line, I like all three.

Brionne is among the worst Pokmon ever created, at least that gets fixed upon evolution.

For me I think these are mostly 'fine', I agree they're pretty much all the worst in their lines and many suffer from typical 'middle stage' syndrome, but they're generally not bad.

I dislike Croconaw and Drizzile tho
