if you are unable to differentiate between the words "one" and "series" then that's on you, not microsoft.

no, a few of them were like "omg i wasn't paying attention sorry", or they got angry at me for trying to bait and switch by saying it's a series x, others just never responded

i'm fairly certain i know how to spot trolling my guy

Yeah I put some digital movie codes on eBay and included a picture of the Blu-ray they were from just so people knew exactly what edition.

Dude messages me like a week after buying (after I shot the digital codes over to him) wondering where the Blu-ray was.

I told him that it was clearly spelled out in the description that it was for the codes only, and that I absolutely wasnt going to refund for digital codes. Didnt hear back after that, havent even checked to see if he left negative feedback (which wouldnt surprise me if he did).

But yeah thats just straight up idiocy.

Sony has just sequentially numbered the PlayStation since the beginning. Nothing fancy or overly complicated and they've been winning the console war.

So all that to say, being overly complicated with the console names has no apparent benefit. Until this thread...I was legit still not even sure if xbox has a new console yet or if they are still just releasing upgrades to some old one.

people getting the wii and wii u confused was a legitimate issue and is attributed as one of the major reasons the wii u failed, with poor marketing being the other.

as in, the marketing didn't really make it clear at all that it was an entirely new thing and not just an add-on to the wii.

If a certain someone had any "reading comprehension" they would've picked up that I was poking fun at them using their middle-class job as a means of putting themselves up on a pedestal, not insulting them having a middle class job in and of itself.

Even went on to say "by the way, no one knocks him for having a middle class income, but it's fucking bizarre how he uses it to give himself an air of superiority)" - which clearly spells out the intent of my comment - but I guess that's too complex for them to wrap their head around

Sometimes I will give people the benefit of the doubt that signs are either poorly placed or of bad design, but that might account for 15% or less of people who regularly shop retail. Sometimes it's not even a reading thing so much as an inability to pick up simple cues, such as the hot case of one of the food serving departments in a grocery store being turned off, its doors open, and someone actively taking items out, after the normal closing time of 7pm; clearly the department must be open and good to serve more food or cook more food. *Shakes her head*
