Like they prioritized the start and stop of the animations over how it felt. adjl 09/05/20 5:21:10 PM #25:	SM64's camera control has aged poorly, but even so, I feel like the levels were designed well enough around the camera's limitations that it's still thoroughly enjoyable to play. Put those camera controls into any more modern game (including Banjo Kazooie, which came out only a year later), and it'd suck, but within SM64, they were made to work. --- This is my signature. FF7 is garbage as far as the graphics go.
