As much as it pains me to admit it, he's solely being carried by Smash Bros and his mascot image. Kirby games aren't worth anything on this site, yet Kirby himself is like an elite character here. Capt. Falcon is a similar case but he's nowhere near as strong.

That said, I probably thought of Kirby because I have this playing on my TV when I saw the topic:

Actually, if this was power levels, that wouldn't be far off. The guy never fought before yet he picked up using a sword and learned all these skills quickly.
