I would look into option chains for that. And remember this is over 8 days, so it's a 1.5% return in that time. Over a year that's over a 65% rate. That's absurdly good

Correct, but remember once it expires you can do it again, so shorter expirations repeated is probably better assuming your platforms commissions aren't gross (TDs are .65 a contract)

I picked up INO yesterday and I'm up 13%. Sold out of AVCT and TLRD. The gain on AVCT made up for the loss on TLRD.

Wow, quite a bloodbath today. Strangely enough HTZ is +65% today. Volume is way up too.

Im getting crushed on PNC. Sigh.

I also sold my last shares of TLRD yesterday. Anyone still holding?

Everything is red for me today but I'm not planning on touching the market for a while anyway. Comfortable with the positions I'm in for the long term.

Exited a smallish position in COTY today at a 25% loss and bought F. I shouldn't have been investing in a company where I have no idea how their business is doing as a consumer. Owning more than 100 shares of F for 6 months apparently also entitles you to a shareholder discount when buying a car.

So I wonder what is going to happen to AAL's share offering at $13.50 - now that the market price has fallen below that they are probably going to have to cut the price on it or people won't buy.

Rules of the stock market: if I get in and get out for a small profit with the goal of getting back in next week to go long, expect a massive surge.

First AVCT and and now ATHX. Well, not chasing this one. I really should learn to hold more available cash/margin for cases like this one. But congrats ATHX holders!

Chase! $2.90 to $15 vs $2.00 to $15 the margin is gonna be around the same if you're gonna go long! (But I'd seriously hold for like $2.70 since that's the bottom end of the range it'd been holding for a month)

Alright, freed up the money to get on board ATHX. Hmmm, wait for another pullback or was the news today too strong and I just hop in AH?

Well normally I'd say get in tomorrow morning. ATHX almost always starts the day with a drop from people getting cheap profits

But I feel like most stocks that move AH from news tend to surge in the morning so probably buying now is better.

Keep in mind ATHX had some other thusly unreported news today about a successful study of stem cells being used in liver donors ( https://www.reddit.com/r/ATHX/comments/hfqq1x/the_delivery_of_multipotent_adult_progenitor/ ) that may or may not be reported but I mean, if it does that could compound on this existing buzz.

LK accepted the delisting, which will be effective Monday. The stock cratered on this news (down 57% today).

Kanye is doing a clothing collab with Gap and their stock is soaring accordingly.

So as I understand it if LK ever regains compliance it'll be relisted.

On the one hand this seems like a potential massive play if that ever happens, but on the other this is probably riskier than buying Hertz shares.

Or maybe I'm misunderstanding how it all works.

Also I can still sell LK shares I own on Robinhood even if it doesn't get relisted and it goes OTC forever.

The odds of them regaining compliance seem low. It looks like they intend to basically take the company private without buying the shares back. No financials, no dividends, no voting power, no need for more capital, and silence from the company = the stock could be worthless, even if the company succeeds.

I was wondering about putting a little bit into this as a long term extremely high risk play but I'm not sure they are going to trade OTC. If they only trade in Hong Kong, say, not sure how easy it would be to sell. If they trade OTC they are still going to have to comply with US laws and it feels like they may have decided staying listed in the US is not worth the cost of legal compliance.

Its a good coffee company and an even better money laundering scheme
