I didnt buy back in. Though theyre up 4% since open at the moment. I dont think AAL is bankrupting though and Im confident itll be above $20 eventually.

DAL is almost back to even for the day. Just a few more cents! I still think DAL is a better buy than AAL considering they are actually further below the pre-virus peak (DAL slightly below 50% of that peak, and AAL slightly above 50%) and DAL's financial position is considerably stronger.

I'm regretting now buying some ATHX on Friday when it did that plunge on no news. Oh well. In other news, it looks like HTZ is finally breaking. Down 21% today.

BIOC is a rollercoaster. Finally got PR this morning, but only 10,000 Covid test kits ordered was apparently bad for the stock, even though it's just the first of many batches. Not sure if I should try day trading this or buy and hold. If I believed in the leadership more, I'd confidently say this is a $2 stock in a month. And it's still possible, so getting cheap shares is tempting.

GAN is finally having some goddamn pullback, but I still don't really have the money I'd like to throw at it. Come onnn, AVCT (and a few more dip days).

Also surprised to see LK down. Aren't they voting on whether to kick out or keep a bunch of executives today?

I was tempted to sell ATHX at the $2.55 mark or so but you know what I still have the same confidence in this stock I did before, maybe even moreso considering it's now rebounded almost all of its crazy drop. I don't wanna risk daytrading it and then it flying away.

Damn, ATHX never hit my limit buy. I only took quick profits to get in at a better price (because I was silly and didn't get in AH on Friday when it was like 2.15). End of day collapse for no reason, let's a go!

And I'm holding a $1k TLRD bag and that's after reducing my position for a $500 or something loss previously. Oh well, it's all or nothing on Tailored.

It took 3 hours but DAL finally crossed over into the green for the day.

Still think ATHX is a steal at this price, so if you're considering getting in, it's still okay to do it now. Just don't be rattled if it ends up being $0.10 cheaper or more expensive for a while. But it's a long term stock. If you just wanna flip it for some quick cash you probably missed the window (though I expect it to eventually get to around the $2.70-$3.20 range it was at a while ago in a few days), though I do think if the BARDA thing goes through you're looking at a doubling real quick I figure.

Anyway for the record, doing some more looking into it with a weekend of people digging, it appears that the massive drop was from a New York Times article saying BARDA would not be supporting COVID treatments going forward, only vaccines. (combined with a lot of people hitting limit sells and it snowballing)

However as I understand it BARDA is only saying they're removing COVID specific treatments from the equation, and as such a more generalized thing like ATHX's multistem wouldn't be affected as it's not really a COVID specific research as much as something that is getting more attention due to COVID. It's mostly for treating ARDS (something bad cases of COVID can cause) and strokes at the moment.

(also BARDA funding isn't really necessary for the stock's long term viability, though it is something that could make it have a temporary surge)

There's a Motley Fool article that says that the LK chairman's own investment holding company called the meeting to remove himself as chairman as well as other directors, with the idea of electing new directors that he will control from behind the scenes. One of the independent directors resigned and the meeting could result in the other one being fired. It looks like the chairman has a bunch of class B shares with 10 votes per share while the regular stock only gets 1 vote per share, which is the same mechanism Mark Zuckerberg and the Google founders use to maintain control of their companies permanently.

They said they are diluting the stock by issuing up to $1.5B in new shares. For it to fall 8% after that announcement is normal. I think long term if it doesn't go bankrupt it should recover. With these airlines bankruptcy has always a possibility since the virus started, which is why the stock is cheap and there is so much profit potential. People don't like risk, so they'll sell their airline stock for less than it's worth in an expected value sense, and that's why we buy - to get an edge. But the BK/dilution risk is real. Now dilution is much better than BK of course.

Yikes. Well Im in it for the long haul at this point.

Some good news - the weekly death count for Covid-19 in the US is waaaaaaay down. Last week was 32, the week before was 998, the week before that was 3,357 and higher numbers every week going back to when it peaked at 16k in mid-April.

Now it's true that deaths are a lagging indicator but wow, 3,357 to 998 to 32 is some cliff!

Sold 7 of my 10 RCL puts. Tempted to hold more but the market is crazy and holding options is bleeding money the longer you hold them. Might buy back in if it goes back up tomorrow.

Futures currently down 1.5% due to China / US trade deal falling through.

They're back now after they walked back that news. DAL flights to China are resuming 6/25, so glad that's still happening.

Haha. Im setting a stop on BAC which is currently up around 1.5%. I also see that AAL is the only airlines that is red this morning, and a whopping -5%. Time today remove that from my mind for the next six months.

So LK is being delisted

Why do I sorta want to hold onto my remaining free dirt cheap shares in hopes that they get relisted at some point (I can still sell my shares, just can't buy new ones without going OTC which is obviously too much effort for me to want to bother with)

I abandoned my fat man suits eating the $200 loss. Feels bad man.

I used that plus my LK money to invest in SNSS which plunged 40% today on what I think is an overreaction to a study going bad. They claim they have enough money to last till the end of 2021, and I figure the stock will go much higher at some point before then, so I should be able to make up my fatman losses.

Huh, all my stocks turned green for the day.

With regard to AAL,they are offering new shares at $13.50. That should be why they're down today - why buy AAL on the market for $15 when you will probably be able to buy it from the company at $13.50. Well, that's a question for institutions and people who are able to buy a secondary offering - I think generally the new stock is not released directly onto the market. Like with IPOs it's a windfall for investment banks and their clients at the expense of retail investors.

Im still down like $7k in AAL. Not too worried though.

I just put $25k into PNC. I am hoping news of a US / China deal going through will be announced and boost the market.
