I would say buying this stock under $14 is a great buy.

Banks are at their one month lows pretty much. Im thinking of going in and holding, but am fearful that the death count from the virus is going to increase soon since the infections are going up.

Dumped a bunch of my travel stocks on this green monday. Sold over half of my MGM and all of my Delta

Holding on to GAN which is up 9% though. I still like the business model

Going to make a small gamble here. Bought 10 UBER July 17 $27 puts. Noticed uber is basically even today even thought its a green monday. I think sentiment is bad for them, and I think people not needing to go to work is awful for them as well.

As well as you know, losing billions of dollars every quarter.

My time frame might be too soon but I think they keep falling

Up $500 today on this one. Guys, I got one penny stonk right! And it's the only one I haven't sold (I bought it over a week ago - NOT going back on my word to not play these). Thank you Zacks' analysts! If this is really a $4.50 price target, I could erase all my dumb recent losses going long here. But I gotta research more and make sure I really want to go long. Will try and find the articles making the case for a 3 or 4 dollar plus price target.

I'm looking at ERI puts but the premiums are rather expensive, even with an expiration date more than 6 months out. I guess I'm not the only one who thinks they are going bankrupt in the next year or 2.

Also, I think the next leg across the market is up for travel stocks. Probably better to hold off on betting against ERI until the travel stocks go significantly over their June 8 highs.

Thoughts on EVRI?

CAR with the +10% day! I think we found the bottom.

Thanks for reminding me about EVRI. My feelings about it will depend on the debt load the company is under. The problem with the casino operators like MGM is that they are under crushing debt loads where their Las Vegas resorts HAVE TO do well just to pay the interest on their debt. They borrowed a lot of money at fairly high interest to build megaresorts or buy other casinos, and if those resorts are closed or don't have a lot of tourists, they lose money very fast from the interest.

If EVRI does not have a crushing debt load, I think I like it as an investment. I don't see why they should have a huge debt load as their business is very simple and low cost - install a bunch of ATMs in Vegas and charge fees for withdrawing cash that border on extortion. On the other hand, EVRI probably has very little protection from a competitor moving in and charging lower prices. Going to do some more research on them.

Upon further research, it seems that (1) EVRI does have a high debt load, and (2) it does a substantial business of selling/leasing slot machines to casinos, in addition to its ATM business.

I also wouldn't feel great about investing in a company that is scummy enough to charge $10 to use an ATM at a casino.

So much for AVCT making my money back this week. 10-k released with no forward guidance or PR (unless that's tomorrow) and no Computex numbers, which is the thing we really needed. This will keep drifting lower until August, I'm guessing, when we get those Computex numbers and their plans moving forward. Can't wait to see my account below 10k. :( But I'm forever long on this. It will be a $10 stock before the end of the year.

Looks like his short term bet was wrong unless for some reason we get PR tomorrow, but I think by the end of the year that man will look like a prophet. Also the few reddit posts there are which he links to at the bottom of that article all have separate great DD.

Random prediction that there's no way in hell I'm betting on: GNC, in Hertz fashion, has a random post-bankrupt climb this week from .55 to ehhh maybe 1.50 or 2 at most before plummeting to the abyss.

Hertz levels won't repeat themselves but it will still be strange.

(This is all based on a mere 4 cent positive change AH today but hey, that's 8 percent of the current stock price!)

Ill put the value slightly higher than whatever the value is each Thursday then take that profit out of my $18 investment sum. Eventually Ill break even sooner.

Uber's the lone green stock I have today as of the moment. This one I'm holding out for at least $100.

But then if the airline advances beyond your call strike you don't get to participate in the upside, and you still participate in the downside if the airline falls more than the call premium.

I think you're getting too fixated on "breaking even" on AAL. There's thousands of stocks out there, a dollar here is worth a dollar there. It isn't worth any more because you made it on AAL. Better to try to maximize your total portfolio value.

If it goes up temporarily and comes right back down you can still get wiped out because you are forced to cover at the top if you don't have enough margin to keep holding the short position. Probably lots of people did short Hertz at $2-4 when it was rising the first time, and sustained losses of between 50% and 400% depending on where they got in and how much margin they used. You wonder who was buying HTZ above $5 - well I bet a lot of the buyers were short sellers who jumped the gun and now were being forced to cover at a massive loss!

You're right, read an article about someone who shorted GNUS at like 1.80 - so their timing was just the worst - but they lost an insane amount. So a literal all in is me exaggerating and begging for a margin call. In reality I would do like half in to be able to cover on the uptrend. If I had the balls to do a move like that.

Which really would only happen if HTZ repeats itself so unlikely!

I wasn't brave enough to buy LK the day it was announced that the delisting was going through. It plunged from $3 to $1.38 that day, and now, after 2 days on OTC, it's back to $2.33. In retrospect it was a great fear trade - buy when delisting causes fear, sell a couple days later when the market decides it's still the same company, just trading on OTC.
