I always suck at this. What's the best you've ever finished in a gamefaqs contest rankings?

I never made a bracket for a sign one

I won prize money for the 2005 Top 10 Games mini-contest. Think I finished 5th.

Best showing for a main contest was 2007. Don't remember exactly where but it was high enough for prize money.

I bombed in 2013, because it was my first real contest and Undertale ruined me in 2015. Not really counting years

I did something stupid last contest that stopped me winning but that was all on me. Was in the losers bracket

My main placed in the top 25ish in Character Battle X, and my alt, a for fun entry, was in the top 10 of the same contest. I've never been on the leaderboard at any time during any other contest.

I've always been pretty good at predicting the first three or four rounds, making the leaderboard practically every contest since 2007 (aside from 2009 and 2010 character where I didn't even make a bracket). It's predicting the top eight/four/two where I always screwed up, so I never finished in the top 50 except for 2007.

2007 I finished, like, 18th, maybe? Granted, that was more luck than skill because I actually had Cloud beating Link in the final. Of course, with the way the FLAWED scoring method worked I was able to take advantage of what L-Block did....! I would have qualified for a prize, but I did not sign up for prizes.

Never good. I'm not even sure I want to enter this year since I end up disappointed.

I finished top 50 in the Expert Challenge in Characters 2013, the one where you had to make daily bets on your points. Of course, that was a crazy one because a ton of people went all in on Snake or Samus beating Draven, on the premise that if Draven won they were already too far behind to win anything, but if an upset happened then they would come out on top. I just safely picked Draven anyway so I could get my free karma for beating SBAllen's score.

I also ended up with an alt in the top 50 on that same leaderboard, despite not starting on day 1 and making a few different picks along the way.

Games 2004 where I was hair away from finishing on the leaderboard.

Also, Characters 2018 had me in 13th until the final day, but I bet against the king, hoping that a repeat match might sway the votes. That didn't happen.

I don't remember any final results but in BGE 2015 I predicted Undertale > ME3, which I still consider my greatest achievement.

(I didn't have it going any farther so clearly it wasn't that great an achievement)

Think I finished in the 40s in 2015? I finished 2nd in the Guru contest that year. I remember getting screwed by SMRPG's deep run that year.

Character Battle VII, 35th place. Unique at 589 points. Never been so high or ever will again. No idea what I did right... probably banking on the Crono/Cloud crash letting Snake sneak into the finals.

Jakyl25 was ahead of me by 1 point!

I spent a week or so in the 1st place during the Years contest, buy eventually got a match wrong and dropped off it.

I was 11th once and someone had multiple brackets above me, so I was top 10 in practice. :)

I was one time in a contest in the top 50 for like 10 days straight.

I finished around 15th or so in the CBIX Expert Challenge.

Never managed to finish on the leaderboard with a regular bracket. I remember doing pretty well for a while in 2006 and 2010 before getting wrecked by some late-round mistakes.
