The stories of the girls were all amazing and performances were on point. The shift between 2D animation to suddenly being in CG for an important scene (whether a concert in an idol anime or a battle scene in an action anime) usually feels really awkward to me. But I think ZLS may have intentionally gone for the most awkward, low-budget CG possible because the whole show was parodying the idol genre, and CG concerts are a staple feature of the genre that deserves to be made fun of. The pacing manages to be all over the place yet have story seemingly go nowhere lol. Pair that with the cg which is kind of a turn off for me. I really like the opening and characters.
