The shift between 2D animation to suddenly being in CG for an important scene (whether a concert in an idol anime or a battle scene in an action anime) usually feels really awkward to me. But I think ZLS may have intentionally gone for the most awkward, low-budget CG possible because the whole show was parodying the idol genre, and CG concerts are a staple feature of the genre that deserves to be made fun of.
