Abalone, high-quality urchin, fatty tuna, and real wasabi are incredibly expensive. There are some pompous bits that I wouldn't have associated with a sushi place, like the gold flakes, but that probably helped him get to three Michelin stars so who knows. Abalone, high-quality urchin, fatty tuna, and real wasabi are incredibly expensive. There are some pompous bits that I wouldn't have associated with a sushi place, like the gold flakes, but that probably helped him get to three Michelin stars so who knows. I think the dabbing of like... a quarter drop of lime on the fish is the most pretentious part of the vid though; only a 70-year-old Japanese guy can do something like that without being called out on it. wow i need i need that in my mouth --- ...Snrk.
