... I guess Rathalos could count as Ryu's partner because Capcom, which would still leave Cloud alone with no other Square/FF rep

(also Ken would be an AT for Ryu, but he can't because now he gets to become an Echo! maybe SF AT gets Chun-Li... all Ryu SF clones are now Ryu SSB echoes )

Finally, I can play some Katamari. Been wanting to for over a decade, I've only ever been able to on my friend's PS2.

But more importantly...

Animal Crossing Switch. I can already say that this will be my favorite Animal Crossing. My problem with the GameCube and Wii versions has always been that I couldn't have it in portable form. My problem with the DS version is mostly that it exists (okay, it's not that bad, but the holidays really broke it for me). And the 3DS one was my favorite, but at the same time, I sometimes just wanted to lay back and play it on my TV. I'm looking forward to the Switch version as it will solve the biggest issue I've had with a game like Animal Crossing.

Though I really hope they make the villagers say more interesting things this time. The GameCube one was really good about it, Wild World was also great, and it's been downhill ever since.

Pocket Edition is rad they somehow managed to perfectly capture the feel of the gameplay of FFXV while making it chibi and completely linear. I loved FFXV and I love Pocket Edition too

While Sony were assholes when they launched the PS3 and Microsoft were assholes when they launched the One, Nintendo have been assholes pretty much the whole time, but these Switch online things really take the cake. With just about every non-game decision Nintendo takes I'm left flabbergasted how anyone at a successful company can consider them good moves.
