Customization: Any week that Elsa uses Let the Storm Rage On, Elsa may additionally summon Marshmallow the Golem as her assist. Marshmallow counts as Neutral Male Beast for ability purposes.

Let the Storm Rage On (Start of Battle) - The cold never yadda yadda yadda. Upshot is Elsa is just fine in a horrendous blizzard. As such, she may begin any fight she chooses by changing the weather into a horrific snowstorm, with gale winds and the ground covered in snow (this will somehow also happen on indoor terrains. It's a mighty storm). Of course this might be detrimental to her own team, but hey, it won't bother Elsa anyway. Once the storm is summoned this ability will go on recharge for a week.

Upgrade

New Ability

Frozen Heart (Start of Battle) - The cold never yadda yadda yadda. But it'll sure bother you anyway. Every four weeks, Elsa may preemptively reach out and freeze a random enemy's heart. That merc will have a number of minutes equal to their upkeep, then they will instantly freeze solid, considered KOed (though they will remain on the terrain as an unbreakable statue). There is no way out from the condition as no one loves them. Tragic.

Terrain: Ice Palace - The Ice Palace as seen in Frozen, with access allowed to the immediate ground and bridge.

2nd ability for Raimundo:

From Now On, You Can Find Me On The Heylin Side (Start of Battle) - Once every four weeks, feeling unappreciated and disrespected, Raimundo will abandon his team. Pre-select a villainous enemy merc. Raimundo's alignment will change to Villainous for the week, and he will become the apprentice of the enemy. They will teach him everything they know about combat, including their personal strengths and weaknesses. In battle, Raimundo will start with the enemy team, with everyone (on both teams) believing Raimundo is actually part of the enemy team. However, as soon as the teams meet, he will betray his mentor and join his original team again.

Part of me almost wants to say 4/week for Elsa. She doesn't have combat experience but ice powers as powerful as hers are pretty insane (way higher than, say, 3/week Sub-Zero). And having Marshmallow every other week (who alone is a solid 3) is pretty good.

Possibly. My only holdback is that she's kind of a weenie and almost gets herself killed twice because she won't fight back (once when she could have easily spiked someone in the throat). Of course Marshmallow doesn't have that problem

While she is a weenie for sure, I think her blizzard powers are still pretty insane. She accidentally creates an eternal winter, which I think puts her on Carrie's level when it comes to "accidentally killing everyone around her" (especially since you specified "full control of her powers")

Also, TV/Movie mercs adds the classification of "Superhuman" (because tv/film inherently lends itself to way too many human characters if we don't split it up) which Elsa would qualify for

essentially I think Elsa wins in a large terrain, Carrie wins in a smaller terrain

However Marshmallow destroys Carrie 100% of the time

I forgot some of the wacko shit Carrie gets up to besides the famous rampage, like calling small meteors out of the sky (although she only does that once while being strangled). And telepath-screwing anyone nearby with her crazy. Thinking it over some more, *that* would dick over someone like poor Elsa

Villainous Male Otherworldly (Pure Support)
3/Week

Captain Trips (Pre-Battle) - Every three weeks, Flagg may display the least of his dickery by infecting a pre-selected enemy merc with a nasty cold. This cold will steadily develop into coughing fits over the next ten minutes, eventually topping out at choking on their own phlegm (this will not necessarily prove fatal, although it could be). The illness is not contagious, fortunately enough.

Upgrade

New Ability

The Stand (Peacetime) - Every four weeks, Randall Flagg may display extreme dickery by dividing each match that week into strictly Good versus Evil. Immediately after all matches in Wartime are declared, one team from each match will randomly be declared Good, the other Evil. The Good team will have all of their Villainous mercs shifted to the Evil team. The Evil team will have all of their Heroic mercs shifted to the Good team. All Neutral mercs will be shifted to the team with less overall mercs at the conclusion of the Good/Evil swap. Also just because Flagg enjoys chaos, any and all abilities may be used freely that day by any team without incurring any charge, regardless of whether they were currently on recharge.

Should he so choose, Flagg may also arrange things so his week's match is immune from the mayhem, decided at the ability's declaration. But where's the fun in that?

Peter Maximoff, also known as the mutant Quicksilver, is as seen as a member of the X-Men in X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse. He comes to battle unarmed in his Pink Floyd t-shirt and silver jacket. Feats from The Avengers: Age of Ultron, as well as any comic feats, do not apply.

Abilities

Time in a Bottle (Passive) - Quicksilver's speed leaves his attention span a little bit shorter than average. As such, during any pre-battle planning, he will spend his time nonchalantly listening to his walkman. He will come to battle completely unaware of his team's plan or any information they might have regarding the battle, and will act independent of any strategy they might have.

Terrain

Cairo - The wreckage of the Egyptian city of Cairo, where the final fight of X-Men Apocalypse takes place. No mutants or civilians are present, though all the damage from the battle between the X-Men and Apocalypse remains.

I've got the basics of a Quicksilver build laid out, but I'm having trouble thinking of abilities. I want one of them to have something to do with how Quicksilver is owned by both Fox and Marvel, but I can't quite think of how to flesh it out.

Also I have a crazy idea for another 7/week that might be horrible but I need to do it

King Leonidas I, is as seen in 300, accompanied by 299 elite Spartan soldiers. Leonidas and the rest of the soldiers come to battle in their normal war attire, each equipped with a sword, a shield and a spear.

Abilities

THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAA!!! (Start of Battle) - Once every 3 weeks, Leonidas will kill the messenger (so to speak) by kicking a randomly selected enemy merc into a conveniently placed bottomless pit, KOing them. At the beginning of the fight, he will enthusiastically shout "THIS IS SPARTA!"

Upgrades

New Abilities:
The World Will Know That Free Men Stood Against a Tyrant... (Start of Battle) - Once every 5 weeks, if rostered against another 7/week, Leonidas will declare that merc as the Tyrant. He will announce to his team that killing that Tyrant enemy will be of the utmost importance. The entire team will prioritize killing the Tyrant above all else (though they will still try to kill the rest of the team as well).

Even a God-King Can Bleed (Results) - If Leonidas' team wins against the Tyrant, they will be filled with a inspiration so powerful, no tyrant would dare stand against them again. The next time Leonidas' team is matched against a team with a 7/week merc in high tier, the enemy 7/week will be considered unrosterable.

HOWEVER, if Leonidas' team loses against the enemy, he will desperately attempt one last stand against the Tyrant. A side-topic will go up asking a single question: under the circumstances of that match, even if Leonidas' team ultimately loses, would the kill the Tyrant? If it's declared that they would, the Tyrant will be injured the following week.

If Leonidas loses both the battle and the side-topic, Leonidas will accept the loss and be injured the following week.

Terrain

The Hot Gates - The narrow coastal pass of the Greek city-state Thermopylae where the Battle of Thermopylae between the Spartans and the Persians took place, otherwise known as the final stand of the 300.

but the problem with mercs, in theory, is the game oversaturates fights with too many names.

Twilight Sparkle is as seen in MLP: FiM in her Alicorn (winged unicorn) form. She has access to all her standard magic but none of the temporary power ups (such as the Princesses' powers or Chest of Harmony).

Abilities
Element of Magic (Passive) - The potency of magic powers of Twilight Sparkle's team is doubled (not including her own). This doesn't affect magical artifacts that have their powers independent of the holder/user.

Cutie Mark Mishap (Start of Battle) - Once every three weeks, Twilight may cast an unfinished Cutie Mark spell on the enemy team, swapping their abilities randomly so that no enemy combatant have their own ability set for the week. Cooldown count is not affected. If the ability requires certain physical anatomy, it can be activated using the closest analogy possible (e.g. using arms as substitute for tentacles).

Upgrades

New Ability:
Friendship is Magic - Once every four weeks, Twilight Sparkle may gather round her team and with the power of friendship they can blast a friendship beam to an enemy combatant. If the enemy combatant is of evil alignment, they will be turned into a stone statue. Otherwise, they will have a change of heart and fight alongside Twilight's team for the week. This ability will fail if even one of her team's combatants is .

Terrain
Castle of Friendship - A large castle located in Ponyville as depicted in MLP: FiM. Access outside the castle is forbidden.

I can't really see lower than a 6. I mean sure there's matchups that don't suit them but the sheer force of numbers is probably too overwhelming for mid tier

They're sort of anti glass Cannon and also anti tank

And also, I kinda want to make all of TV/film Mercs anti paydown. Too big of a power gap

I do think they make more sense in mid than high but maybe I'm underestimating what 300 muscular bodies with ancient weapons can do against the majority of those fighters

How do you think the 300 compare to the cast of Fast and Furious? Because that is like, 8 people in vehicles with guns at 6+ upkeep (5+ with the upgrade).

That would actually be a pretty interesting fight. Really depends on terrain I think. If the Fast and Furious guys can't abuse their cars fully (and I mean like, fully, evasive actions and stuff are very necessary), even with their offense advantage from the guns and mobility advantage I think throwing javelins would waste em before they can bring down all 300.

Also the 300 could PILE THE CORPSES HIGH to block bullets.

Overall a fairly sizable advantage to 300 though, more often.

(And the Terminator could wipe them out too for the record.)

Obviously T-1000's build would need to place a pool of molten steel somewhere on the terrain at random for no reason whatsoever, similar to Neclord's opponent getting the Star Dragon Sword
