I don't think there's any way Littlefinger will end up with Arya. If there's anyone who are immune to littlefingers lies, it's the Starks.

Jon is ready to rip his head off; Sansa will use and abuse him, but will never again get double crossed by him; Bran literally sees everything he's ever done (Baelish peed his pants in that scene last week lol); and Arya is already ready to cut his throat. She knows exactly who he is, and once she finds out what he fully did to Sansa she's gonna go all out

The only thing that annoys me in that guys review video was that he called Arya's Needle "a very strange sword that probably wouldn't have been around in that period". I don't think he knows that the sword was made specifically for her by a talented blacksmith. There were never any women, especially tiny women like her, that would fight with a sword so of course it wouldn't be seen. Many characters even comment on it throughout the series.

But he acts like it's a flaw in the series, that the writers were too stupid to know this sword didn't belong in this era. That's not the case at all

He was also saying that you won't do any cutting damage with a sword like that, so he didn't understand why Arya kept striking Brienne, and I'm just sitting here thinking," They aren't trying to hurt each other." I mean, it would be a good point in any other fight scene with that sword, but in this one, not so much.

First, while what he says is true, you COULD make a sword that cut of that type, it was just not something that was done (for a variety of reasons), but could be done just for Arya. The sword was made for her, so it could be special.

Second, even if you can't cut, striking with it would still cause damage, more then striking with a bamboo reed would do, and you can do serious damage with one. hits the joints, or weak spots (like the throat for instance), could still seriously harm someone, or slow them down enough for you to stab them.

Finally, third, and most importantly, they were sparing, so it doesn't matter if the sword can cut, the point is to score a hit, which Arya already had done before they finally tied at the end multiple times. If Arya was using a real short sword (with an edge) the cut to the leg at least would have been serious and probably she would have cut off Briennes hand as well. All of that I believe happened before she was kicked/knocked down, so in a real fight Arya would have won before even getting that far.

I also loved her response to "Who taught you to do that"........it was perfect:)

Arya is certainly my favorite character of the series at this point. I just hope she doesn't actually end up with littlefinger.

They were sparring to train. What's the point of training the wrong way with a sword just to score points?

You can practice correct form while still stopping short of a killing blow. Look, it's totally alright that her style doesn't make any sense. It's a show and they wanted to make a scene that was fun to watch. If it were realistic Brienne would have ended her in 2 seconds flat, but that wouldn't be entertaining. I just think it's silly to try explain it as if it made sense from a technical standpoint when you have actual HEMA people saying it doesn't make any sense.

I don't really disagree with you. I don't think it made sense from a technical standpoint (although, no matter how you slice it, neither did training with a real weapon). But from the character view, it does kind of make sense. Arya probably wants to learn from Brienne (she beat the Hound in a 1v1 after all), yet at the same time wanted to make it clear that she isn't out of her league so Brienne would give it her all. Rather than showing what she should do, she made it clear what she can do, so they can train in earnest.

Although I could be completely wrong, that was my initial takeaway. Arya is capable, is used to people assuming she isn't, and was seeking to demonstrate that she is so she could learn from the person who is arguably the best fighter alive in the show right now (besides maybe The Mountain). Hell, twice this season so far people laughed when she talked about her list. In any case, I'll reserve full judgement for if we see them actually training later on.

That's actually a really interesting channel. He did one on the Tower of Joy fight scene, and apparently he didn't have a problem with the dual wielding bit, which I remember a lot of people complaining about. Still other issues in that fight, but I'm liking these videos.

Skallagrim tore that fight apart in his breakdown of GoT fights back up to season 5 or 6.

Also, damn, people are moving fast this episode.

Jon, Davos and Jorah move from Dragonstone to The Wall in about 15 mins time.

I understand that time is always inconsistent in this story, and that things dont happen at the same time as each other in different parts of the continent, but damn they're moving fast this season. Not in the way I expected, but satisfying nonetheless, I guess...

2 episodes left this year. Let's hope theyre as big as last years final 2....they fucking better be, with this '7 episode season'

Spoilers maybe, but if you pause and read the note, we already know:
It's the note Sansa wrote in S1, under duress and because she was a naive child, asking Rob to bend the nee to Joffrey and that Ned (their dad) had betrayed them. Arya doesn't know of it's existence and is already wary of Sansa a bit, so this is Littlefinger clearly trying to drive a wedge between the sisters in order to gain more control over Sansa. An interesting plot point that might work because Arya is a dumb 14 year old, but also should be a lot more worldwise herself to fall for such an easy ploy. But there's precious little time left in the whole series for this plot thread to go anywhere, so it'll probably be resolved quickly.

Also, it's clear at this point that a mistake was made in cutting down 7 combined episodes from the last 2 seasons. These reunions and final pieces are moving too quickly for how big they are.

I have no issue with him sneaking in, because he probably didn't run into many people but I have no clue why they think that's such a great plan because Cersei would likely just think it's some trick.

Yes they only have 7 episode this season, and yes, episode 5 was very much filler, easily the worst this year. Let's hope the final 2 episode can somehow save this season. Same here. It's the only fitting ending.

This is the show that taught us that even the nicest, kindest characters, the ones who hold the 'People' as the most important, always die.

No one else should get away with living. They all deserve to die at this point, following the rules of this story.

It's because of the ruthlessness of the writers. And if they allow anyone to live at the end, they're hypocrites and true assholes (as if they weren't already)
