Guess I'm stuck making another topic. SORRY EVERYONE YOU HAVE TO PUT UP WITH ME AGAIN.
"What's VGMusic of the day?" you ask. Good thing you asked, it makes a nice start to this topic! It's a youtube channel that has a different video game song every single day. It's been going for over 600 days in a row. Somehow we haven't screwed up and missed a day yet! (though we've come close) We try for interesting variety in the music, from all different time periods, systems, composers, series, styles, etc.
"Well gee golly, who is this 'we' that you speak of mister?" Oh yeah, I should say who we are! Everyone uploads a different day of the week.
Feel free to give comments, suggestions, and whatever to us. Tell us if you want a song, maybe we can get to it if we remember. We always like hearing feedback, even if it's just "my dog wouldn't stop barking so I played one of your videos to drown him out, thanks vgmotd"

VGMusic of the Day 639: Hook (SNES) - Neverland Tundra
Here's a random track from my childhood. As a kid, I used to record game music on cassette tape, and this song was one of the chosen. It's pretty cool, but I think I like it mostly for nostalgia.
hey guys just as a heads up, I might not be around tomorrow, so I'm gonna upload my song tonight in HIDDEN MODE and someone else can "flip the switch" tomorrow

Ed, I believe Neverland Tundra was my nom for SotW. I'm actually recycling a lot of those for VGMotD (same for this week), but breaking it up every so often with something new or different (probably next week).
VGMusic of the Day 646: Sonic and the Secret Rings - High and Broken
Never played this game, but this is a cool track. Fumie Kumatani delivers once again.
I have always been interested in how some of these Lost Odyssey songs are like in-context, but it has continued to stay in its shrink wrap for nearly four years now
Hey Harmonica, someone made a comment about the composers for your latest upload. I found something that points to Kenichi Tsuchiya probably being the composer, but I don't know if it's 100% sure or if you knew the composer of that track for sure.
MOVING ON here is day 650!
I like the music for this NES game, but not until I stopped and listened to this track earlier did I realize how good it is.

Well boys its finally happened but we have FINALLY hit the 500+ subscriber mark.
Clearly it was all thanks to me and my upload today.
And Double Dragon songs have been something I've pondered for a long while. Given infinite time, there's a bunch of tracks from those games I would pick to upload (which hopefully sits better with you, azuarc, knowing it's not the one track of choice I would upload, but one of many)
NES music was really the area I was most familiar with for a long while when I started to get into vgm really well, and the area I searched through high and low at first. Pretty much anything "good" that was on the NES has a chance at being something I'll put up someday.
