VGMusic of the Day 653: Mega Man 3 - Stage Select + Game Start


Since the Stage Select & Game Start tracks are super short and naturally go together, I decided to combine them for this video (I used the OST versions). Actually I chose the Stage Select theme because it reminded me of a part of Keff McCulloch's Doctor Who composition "Burton's Escape" ( Good tracks all around!

Guess I know what song from that game we have to do next.

Well, almost everybody checks Pika's site, so I'd hope they've all seen the note for Day 660 by now. If they haven't, I'll just remind everyone to check it out and get a song ready - this is a different type of theme than we've done in the past, and it seems a fair bit broader. I also don't believe everyone had an opportunity to weigh in on the theme; I think the idea was just proposed and we ran with it, so sorry if you have any objections, but I think the theme is broad enough that you can find something good.

I added the "see also" thing to the latest Mega Man 3 song and then back on the other two.

Gravity Well is an iphone game where I think you have to get a ball through sort of an obstacle course, and you put down these spots of gravity to sort of guide the ball around? I haven't actually played it myself, that's just what it appeared to be about.

Also I think I have the lead in songs from iphone games.
