I was under the impression that Not all humans are nephalem, and only nephalem are half-angel, half-demon. Most current humans are just descendants of them, and only a few (like the main character and Kulle I think) live today.

That makes sense too.

Yes, it is normal for you to not get yellows on boss drops any more. Normal it is intended for you get rares when you kill bosses, but not when you go to the higher difficulties. You should only get blues mostly, though it might be possible to get a yellow very rarely.

This is because at level 60, whenever you kill an elite or champion pack, you get a stack of Nephalem's Valor, which increases your magic and gold find by 15% up to 5 stacks, so 75%, and also increase the items dropped by the boss by 1. So say you kill the Butcher on Inferno with no stacks, he will drop 3 blues. If you kill him with 5 stacks, he should drop 6 blues and 2 rares, or sometimes 5 blues and 3 rares. This kicks in nightmare mode.

This seems pretty dumb since nobody is level 60 in Nightmare. If it kicked in when you hit hell mode (or even when you hit level 60) I think that would be reasonable.

Decided to make my first purchase off the AH after getting depressed that Ayuyu's DH was like 6 levels lower than me and I hadn't seen a weapon close to his quality. My DPS went from like 1200 to 2200 from buying a bow and a quiver, neither of which were stupid rare items. It's nice to see hits of more than 300!

oh, btw, just read the first post. Is it necessary to specify the gender of one's character? If so, then I'm a chick. I never play dudes if I can help it. Just seems funny to include that in the info post.

After a gazillion and one deaths in phase 2 of inferno belial, I have taken him down. Phase 1 isn't too bad so long as you can take a hit, just sit in a corner, spam smoke screen and hope you don't get RNG screwed by a million spawns in the corner. Phase 3 was ridonculously trivial. A combination of vault being awesome and lots of playing osu! and Touhou helps. But god, continuous mobs from every direction while trying to dodge stuff that'll one-shot you is the worst nightmare of run-and-gun DH.

Point is, they don't expect or want people to farm bosses while levelling. They also don't want people just straight up killing the bosses, they want you to have to hunt around for elite packs to kill first. Hence the idea of Nephalems Valor and why it doesn't kick in until 60.

So my friend went from 0-60 in about 8 or 9 hours using the Zhultan Kulle quest exploit. I helped him for about an hour and 10 minutes. Funny stuff.

Doing comparisons to that level 39 ring I have fd the cheapest thing with the same stats (dex/attack speed/crit damage) in all levels goes for 10 mill.

It is a better ring but still, rofl :\

Wish I had sold my 2 million gold amulet. Gave it to my friend because it was exactly what he needed. Now my dps is hurting pretty bad, but at least I don't die in 1 hit in Inferno Act II anymore. Ditched the 2 handed staff and went with a shield and wand instead. Also went from 39k HP to 31K, but it seems better this way.

Physical res at about 550 with 5,300 armor (with force armor), and all res at 364.


I haven't really played in a week because I got married last weekend, and I get back to it and all of my friends are way better than me now. Back to the grind.

I had this issue with a ring. It was level low 20s with damage and dex. I'm level 52. finally found a rare ring last night with more dex and attack speed that increased my dps a couple hundred more than the previous ring. Auction house wasn't finding rings with +damage for some reason (at least not below level 60) so I'm glad I found one

Yeah, with 2 people you can do the quest 5 times before having to start over. And by start over I mean take 20 seconds to get to Kulle and kill him.

Act 3 resplendent chest is getting run so hard I'm fairly sure we've managed to crash nodes or something because one out of every five or six games takes 5x longer to start up and when it does it has 1k+ ping. So it ends up being faster to close the client completely and relog, which probably exacerbates the problem.
