Out of all of these girls only 2 of seem to be well adjusted and mentally sound bet you can't tell at a glance

the gatcha failed because blazblue has no where near the star power to carry the things gatchas need not everyone had a flipping clue who all these xblaze code embryo, lost memories, bloodedge experience, phase shift, spiral shift, remix heart and variable heart characters were on top of that the story barely advanced you were doing a bunch of episodic nonsense and only sometimes would the plot peek in and remind you it's there.

Honestly, between that terrible gacha, the complicated story, blazblue's whining popularity and the negative reception to the cross tag battle game it's most recent release prior to the gatcha it's no wonder if failed and mori left the company, he dibbles in 2000s era stories and designs in a world where nobody really cares about that shit anymore. If they had done these things in like 2009 he probably would have made decent coin for the company. Kinda reminds me of how bad Kingdom Hearts as a franchise is doing, 2 came out relatively quickly after 1 where as 3 takes years and years and finally releases and it's shit and despite the cliffhanger ending no one is really chomping at the mouth for 4 because of how complicated the plot has become and how dated the designs of the characters have become, they still dress like it's the early 2000s as well.
