Meh I don't know much about the laws here but there's plenty of people who move here for college from other countries and end up staying after. I'd guess that you need people from the inside to fill in paperwork and make phone calls.

It's kind of a trap question since they already roughly know how much they're willing to pay. It's usually best to ask for something higher then negotiate down if you're willing to.

I had a pretty good interview a few months ago and that was the last question. I asked for something quite high (but fair) and they had a somewhat surprised reaction, took notes and called back a few weeks later telling me they didn't want to go further with me. Which headset did you try? I have a Vive and tracking could not possibly be any better. Honestly I feel like it's still quite expensive and I would recommend to wait for gen 2. You need a powerful PC for it to work and GPUs are still quite expensive.The Vive controllers are not too good and tend to break easily.

VR is NOT a gimmick. The technology works really good, they only need to fix a few details. I predict that in less than 10 years ''No VR no buy'' will be common for all new FPS games.

I wouldn't really set investment targets like this. If after a few bad trades you're below your target, you'll end up making more risky moves in order to catch up which might end up turning even worse.

Personally I don't think it's unrealistic at all. You could easily make over 10% monthly during last year's bull market. Swing trading can work quite well if you're good at interpreting the charts even if you have limited knowledge about the company. You need time to watch the market though, something most people with a full-time job don't have

As a Quebecker who spends a lot of time traveling across US (esp the South) and to other provinces for work, I'd say that there are quite a lot of social differences between Canada and the US, even among the more liberal Northern states.

1. Canada doesn't like guns as much as the US. There are definitely gun nuts and hunting enthusiasts who enjoy collecting them, but there's no 2nd amendment debate here. Gun laws are quite different and more restrictive in most provinces.

2. Religion is not as big, particularly when you compare it to the Southern states.

3. People are not as paranoid about everything. They don't feel like they need guns for protection from criminals or the government. The small government advocates are present but not as big. Maybe it's because you guys have to read 1984 in high school and are taught that this is what happens when the government takes too much control? Like I'm not too sure where this fear of the state comes from. Then again the US government is so big, I guess I kinda understand how people feel it doesn't serve their interest.

4. The whole liherals vs conservatrolls debate seems crazy for outsiders, it's pretty specific to the US although it is somewhat present elsewhere (see brexit).

Did you try project zomboid? I gave it a try and it felt really clunky, especially the inventory management and The Sims 1 graphics. Basically the EVE online of zombie games.

It's alright. I like solo play in fortnite better than pubg but pubg is better for groups. Also don't play in groups if you don't want to hear kids screaming at you.

Congrats. I switched to 34 from 36 a few years ago and I hate it.

Steam controller is not too bad. It's not a revolution like some people expected but it does what it's supposed to do.
