In large companies, if this guy can improve production and reduce waste by a fraction of a percentage, he easily paid back his yearly salary. Let's say the company has 1 million to invest, he's the guy who knows best where to spend it since he spends so much time looking at the production numbers. He probably has a few employees who do actual technical work that help him run projects and collect data. |

Also there's a religious element to it since that's how nature works and humans decided to go against this by creating societies. Women are physically weaker so for them it is only natural to consider them inferior. |
