I wanted a nice cold beer while I watched soccer all day, but I just got a tattoo and I don't want to interfere with the healing process by boozing it up. So if there are non-alcoholic beers that taste like good beers, woulda been great. And honestly, if they have less carbs and calories than regular beer, it might not be a bad idea to switch at least some of my beer consumption over. I would assume fewer calories at least. Iirc there are some "non alcoholic" beers which in fact do have an actual readable ABV percentage, but which are so low you would have to drink something like 10 (or more) of them to match 1 Budweiser.
