Dual channel memory only really works if both of the slots are populated. So it's best to either habe 2 or 4. 1 is ok but if you have 3 the 3rd stick isnt really used. Also if it's a slower speed than your other RAM, your computer will set the other sticks to the slower speed.

Noted. Will look into that when I'm home on Sunday

They were getting rid of some older dev PCs. Turned out they had better CPUs, mobos and more ram, so i brought mine in, swapped the rest of the parts in.

Mobo: asus m5a78L-M > asus z9z-k
CPU: Amd FX6300 > Core i7-4790 @4ghz
RAM: 16 > 24

Plus a bigger case and much better fans, so it's deathly quiet.

It's easy to forget, but Luffy is the captain of the Strawhats. And I seem to recall Zoro and Sanji backing Luffy and telling Chopper that Luffy is the captain, and he can't have crewmembers do shit like Ussop did. I'd actually argue it's in character for Luffy, in the sense that he's shown he's perfectly capable of being serious when he needs to be. And your crewmember basically trying to mutiny is a serious situation.

Thats true after what was said, but luffy should have been more honest to begin with I think. He simply didn't tel usopp why he was making the decision he was making, which made him seem callous and uncaring. And he got defensive when pressed, and said the one thing he shouldn't have said (which is why Sanji kicked him). That's poor leadership and he paid for it..

I mean considering how big that building is you'd be getting flung 30 ft with every step. So every person inside would die.

There's 8 windows by 8 windows at the widest point. Can't really count the floors well but let's say 60. If its supposed to be thr empire state, then 102.

If its the empire state, then around about 15,000 people would die.

If its smaller then maybe 5,000.

The conclusion to this arc is my favourite one piece arc ever and one of the best in anime.

Usopp losing it over the ship is very in character. There's a lot of hints dropped up to that point that show he loved that ship more than anyone. The main thing that's out of character (or at least a poor judgment call) is how luffy handled that argument.

Let's say the software helps you find a chair for sale from a database.

Client: What we want is for the search function to bring through all possible chairs for sale and then we just pick one.
Me: I wouldn't say that's a good idea. First of all, if you just want to bring through all chairs, then you don't need a search, you just need a straightforward query to pull up a list of all chairs, which is straightforward and you can already do. The search function is to help you narrow down suitable chairs. So it would be a string that would work something like, "give me a list of all chairs within X-Y price range, within 20 miles from my location, that are Z colour."
Client: No but that's not what we want. We want to be able to search against the entire database for all of those chairs and then pick one.
Me: So why search for them?
Client: Well we want to have all the options available.
Me: You want to look through a list of 400,000 chairs and then pick one at random?
Client: No not at random, we want to choose.

argh.

Any diet that doesn't provide the necessary nutrients to live a healthy life and doesn't provide any in excess to the point where it would be a detriment (to rephrase my awkward wording; not too little and not too much) says to me that the diet is inherently broken. You shouldn't need supplements to ensure your body meets the healthy living criteria if you're eating right. Not ragging on vegetarianism since coolguyjimmy brought up fortified food being among vegetarianism's only options. Just ragging on that logic of dismissing the issue with supplements.

I'll also make the distinction that this is different from something like trying to live a body builder lifestyle where you're putting on more muscle than needed for everyday life and so you'd be on a high protein diet which would require supplements to reach certain muscle mass goals.

While I agree, I think the general populations ability to monitor their nutrition is pretty poor.

Which has nothing to do with being a vegan, but I'd wager a large portion of vegans don't consistently take B12 supplements.

Thr actual nutritional requirement of b12 and basically every other nutrient is so low that most people get their needs met within the first 10% of their calories.

B12 deficiencies happen in people who are either suffering from famine or who have extreme diets. Regular vegetarians don't have this problem, and few vegans do either.

Wasn't this pretty obvious... since... ya know.... B12, and humans inability to make it, is pretty well known, only reliable way for vegans to get B12 is fortified foods or supplements.

Here are some of the Symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency
If you have anaemia caused by a vitamin B12 deficiency, you may have other symptoms, such as:
* a pale yellow tinge to your skin
* a sore and red tongue (glossitis)
* mouth ulcers
* pins and needles (paraesthesia)
* changes in the way that you walk and move around
* disturbed vision
* irritability
* depression
* changes in the way you think, feel and behave
* a decline in your mental abilities, such as memory, understanding and judgement (dementia)

B12 is ludicrously easy to supplement, if you eat a meatless diet and you don't do this that is not a function of vegetarianism being wrong, it is that you did it wrong.

Client: What about when we want somewhere to work on?
Me: Well we have a desk for that.
Client: The problem is, we are used to using an all in one desk and chair. So you can sit down and work at the same time.
Me: Well we have both, and they fit together seamlessly. Also because they are not part of one unit you can replace the desk or the chair later, or make some modifications to it. Functionally right now it meets exactly what you are used to, and then some.
Client: Ok brilliant. Can we then replace the desk with a chair-desk unit? Also can we have the chair that detaches from the desk, and has arm rests? Also can the desk be like chair? The chair needs to have 6 legs, in case we don't like the first 4 legs. Also can the desk be removable in case you just want a chair? One other thing, you haven't mentioned the portable toilet, I assume that's just not visible right now?
