Yes, but only with people who I don't really care to argue with (strangers and most co-workers) or if I know it'll turn into a 3 hour debate.

I think they were afraid of being accused of not doing their job, but when it's the singer himself telling you to back off, you back off. Dude's smart enough to know when someone is and isn't a threat. Hell, they were a bigger disruption to his performance than she was.

I think you still have to try despite the artists' protests. He might be okay with it, but the organizer or his team might not be.

I stopped getting delivery as much when I first got my car, and now it's been a few years since I've have pizza delivered. Delivery plus tip can be anywhere from 10 to 20 dollars. It's worth it to pick it up myself.

Bunch of grifters trying to get rich off of us. Like you said, there's no need for most videos to be that long but monetization is too important for them.

They literally have to in most cases. Particularly when trying to establish a fanbase. YouTube favors videos that adhere to their guidelines.

Also, trying to make money from content you created isn't grifting.
